Notes - Existential Transcendentalist / Belief-o-matic Quiz Results / Q & A / Amorella

Mid-morning. You need to remember the ‘religious affiliation’ you placed on your Facebook page.

It is not in mind, Amorella, except existential is a part of it. Marsupial existentialist comes to mind out of the blue. I know that is not right. Transcendental existentialist or existential transcendentalist, one of the two. And, I realize there is a difference on which is the adjective, but I cannot remember what I put.

         You need reminding.

It isn’t on my Facebook profile anymore. I think I put existential transcendentalist, that’s what I feel at  present in any case. That is what I am if someone asks my religious affiliation. However, I was raised officially as Presbyterian.

** **
existential (adjective)

of or relating to existence.
• Philosophy concerned with existence, esp. human existence as viewed in the theories of existentialism.
• Logic (of a proposition) affirming or implying the existence of a thing.

Transcendentalist, derivative of transcendentalism (noun)

1 an idealistic philosophical and social movement that developed in New England around 1836 in reaction to rationalism. Influenced by romanticism, Platonism, and Kantian philosophy, it taught that divinity pervades all nature and humanity, and its members held progressive views on feminism and communal living. Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau were central figures.
2 a system developed by Immanuel Kant, based on the idea that, in order to understand the nature of reality, one must first examine and analyze the reasoning process that governs the nature of experience.

Adopted from the American-Oxford
** **

I would agree although with Kant, it is not just the reasoning process that governs the nature of human experience, it is also the process of the interaction of the individual's soulanbodyanmindanheart.

Now, you see where you are. Post. – Amorella.

I need to add this philosophy, not religion, is based on self-examination and relentlessly questioning reality not on belief.

I agree, this is your position. Now, why don’t you take the ‘Belief-o-matic’ quiz as it has been a year or so. --

I have just retaken the quiz and I have not changed my beliefs according to the Beliefnet quiz (which I have taken several times since 2001. Here is the present list of faiths to which I may prescribe in 2011 if I so desired (that is none of the three would be considered hypocritical choices in my mind - though I lean to the first two).

1.   Reform Judaism (100%)
2.   Liberal Quakers (88%)
3.   Unitarian Universalism (84%)

From: beliefnet.com

I used to be surprised on the Reform Judaism, but the same response on the quiz has been prevalent. I think the quiz has been well thought out and each time I deliberate and don’t always choose the exact same responses.

         I agree. Post. – Amorella.

I have a question. In responding the quiz questions and corresponding set of responses what goes on in the decision-making, that is, are heartansoulanmind in on the decisions?

In your case they were because you want to remain free where it counts most. This was at my request and the results are in the blog. Consistency within the framework of the blog is very important. I said I would keep you honest-minded within the blog. I am. I am the gift not the giver of the gift.

         I won’t ask.

It is just as well because I won’t answer.

This appears to cover today’s blog.

The coverage is to the point. Let’s let it go at that. Post. - Amorella

About time for bed, but as I look over what was written this morning it appears I broke a cardinal rule and threw religion into the fold.

At my request, orndorff. You stated it is basic in your philosophy and you said belief wasn’t a part of your existential transcendentalism. This gave the implication you had no beliefs which is not true, that is the reason I requested the Belief-o-matic quiz. You need to see that you do have beliefs and that even an agnostic at heart (are you getting this?) does not mean you do not have tendencies towards religious beliefs. You mutter to yourself that these beliefs are culturally induced, but that is not completely true, deep inside you have spiritual convections as well as reasonable doubts just like everyone else. You are not a complete agnostic; if you were you would not have doubts on the subject. Being human brings with it many complications for consideration. You will see this philosophical conflict grow within Merlyn.

Taking this a step further – look at the fractions in politics today – in many countries, including your own. People who say “it is my way or the highway” from many parts of the state and federal capitols. Because of your timeline in the world you are constantly reminded of how the Nazis rose to power. Then you roll Brave New World, 1984, Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies over and over in your mind, books that reinforce your thinking.

These Merlyn books and blog are not about those things, even the last book is not about what you would like it to be about – a political piece of satire. And, the books and blog are certainly not about a lightly disguised religious satire either. No Da Vinci Code here, boy. The world is not as it seems out there, and it is not exactly as it seems in here either – this is the human condition as I, an imaginary outsider if you will, see it. Post. - Amorella

Notes - let them be / polite&honest / electric motor / sharable thought

Mid-morning. Cloudy with sprinkles, lots of sky lightning and rolling thunder, pleasant to listen to on the front porch.

Particularly the rolling thunder, in this case, coming from the northwest rumbling down through the southwest like an oversized bowling bowl rolling a narrow enclosed path-of-lightning alley. The water on the tree and bush leaves is a refreshing and calming sight; a relief from the sun heat for a few hours. I have the full shade up on the bedroom window and it is dawn dark, enough to sleep by.

You had about an hour’s nap to make up for poor sleep last night – flare up of arthritis in hips and lower back. You thought about taking a Celebrex this morning but did not because in the long run they may cause kidney damage.

Nothing I can’t handle, Amorella. No need to mention such matters – I can be boring enough without enlightenment of my aches and pains – Grandma Schick always said “One time I complained about having no shoes until I met a man who had no feet.” She would always have a variation that would meet the moment.

Aunt Ruthie, Grandma’s only remaining daughter, sent you a card that arrived yesterday that said: “Have a great day. I can’t believe you are as old as you are. I still see you as the little four-year old standing and just looking at the Christmas tree. You never touched an ornament.”

I like that sentiment very much. Family always said I was a good little boy. I showed it to Carol and mentioned my early behavior and she deadpanned, “What happened?” Very funny. It is strange though that my remaining two aunts and uncle can still see me as a little kid. Shoot, they can remember when my parents were kids like they were. Come to think of it, I can remember when Mom and Dad were in their late twenties. Well, that might be a false memory. What good is a memory when some of it may be false? That being the case, all memory has to be at least suspect and open to questioning.

Some people don’t like to think on that kind of edge, boy. – Amorella.

Well, it is the truth, at least as I see it. Reality, as witnessed and remembered has to be at least questioned. I cannot imagine the Dead (if they survive physical death) not questioning such things. It is a standard to always question one’s self, and others too. Otherwise, too much self deception, and just general deception in the world, deliberate or accidental. This is not a world, a universe wherein one can take things for granted. That’s how I see it.

Each has herorhis own thoughts, boy. Let them be. Post. – Amorella.

Before noon. You think this is not worth mentioning, but as you put your MBA to sleep the thought crossed your mind that “I was standing at that Christmas tree and probably thought ‘it is not polite to undress the tree’ – as a four year old I was taught to be polite first and I was taught to be honest second that’s how I remember it.’

This shows nothing, Amorella. A stray thought. However, I can see myself thinking something of that sort. It was a black and white world and I had a black and white mind. If I had to be polite to everyone then the tree counted too. It is easier to think in these terms, even today, that way there is less chance for an error. This is conjecture, of course, but a possibility. I can still remember the inner conflict on the nature of being polite and being honest. It did not make sense, and still doesn’t. You can’t always be honest and you can’t always be polite, not in such a world as this. [The noon siren is going off as I post.]

Post, it is still before noon. – Amorella.

          Mid-afternoon. You have an analogy?

I need a diagram/schematic of a simple electric motor. The problem with heartansoulanmind is that the body is not included – with the body you have four basic elements. As such how should I arrange them? An order, most basic to complex?

Soul; Body; Mind; and Heart. – Amorella.

This is not what I expected. I was thinking: soul; heart; body and mind.

Even though the heart is not the blood-pumper, the soul enters the body once it is dispatched separately into the universe. That’s how it is in here. Next, consciousness/mind. Heart is what you (as a body) do with the soulanmind. What you do depends on the environmental circumstance in which consciousness finds self (body and consciousness) surrounded. In here this is a developmental process, which takes time – usually this begins in earnest when the child begins walking.

This does not agree with some teachings.

Neither do you, boy. Presently, you have a right to your opinion in this country. Besides, like you are fond of saying, it is fiction [I’ll add: ‘for thought’ to the fiction], nothing more, nothing less. – Amorella.

Definition of an electric motor from ‘How Stuff Works’.

Inside an Electric Motor
An electric motor is all about magnets and magnetism: A motor uses magnets to create motion. If you have ever played with magnets you know about the fundamental law of all magnets: Opposites attract and likes repel. So if you have two bar magnets with their ends marked "north" and "south," then the north end of one magnet will attract the south end of the other. On the other hand, the north end of one magnet will repel the north end of the other (and similarly, south will repel south). Inside an electric motor, these attracting and repelling forces create rotational motion.

In the above diagram, you can see two magnets in the motor: The armature (or rotor) is an electromagnet, while the field magnet is a permanent magnet (the field magnet could be an electromagnet as well, but in most small motors it isn't in order to save power).

From: How Things Work
** **
The above is probably too simple, but I need to see the process as I work it out – as I come to understand it in the present ‘blog’ context.

At least you are not apologizing. – Amorella.

I don’t care if readers do not think me very bright, but my purpose is to reduce this into a working analogy for the book as a plausible and reasonable explanation of how the metaphysics works to me.

Too many diagrams to choose from. Go with this. – Amorella.

How brushless motors work
The basic explanation of a brushless motor's construction is that it is similar to a brushed motor, except everything is 'inside out' and there are no brushes at all. The permanent magnets that would wrap around the armature in a normal motor are instead placed around the motor shaft, and this assembly is called the rotor. The wire coils are around the inside of the motor can, making several different magnetic poles. In a sensored brushless motor, there are sensors on the rotor that send signals back to the electonic speed control.

Take a break. Post. – Amorella.

Another evening of viewing two recently copied TV shows this time. It is definitely dusk. Looking at the brushless diagram above I can see that the top right corner where it says Battery would be body. The Coils mentioned on bottom left would be the heart, soul and mind, that leaves the oscillating rotor, the Field Magnet in the middle. This has to be the drive, the passion.

How then does a person know which is driving more energy – the Heart, Soul or Mind?

The electronic sensors on the rotor. The unconscious sensors in the body can ‘intuitively feel’ which coil is exerting more or less energy on the motor can (unconscious/automaticity of body). I don’t know if this is correct for the analogy to work but this shows that the body is more important to this operation than it appeared to me to be.

You witness this in the body language of the shamans when they are in trance, in an altered state. – Amorella.

This then goes back to what was mentioned the other day:

. . . ‘as the heartansoulanmind understands intuitively, empathically and sympathetically by way of an inter-communication’ within a shell of pre-conscious through post conscious state of a holistic human or marsupial being’.

In the books then, consciousness is not just in the mind or even the brain, it is distributed throughout the whole body – top of the head, fingers and toes – as well as heartansoulanmind.

Yes. This concept will work. – Amorella.

What about the body? It is one thing when a person is alive, but consciousness without the body? How does that work to keep a balance of these four ‘elements’: soul, body, mind and heart?

When physically dead, the mindansoul create the ‘aurora’ if you will, of the body, which can then be more intuitively sensed by close friends – sometimes even by the Living as has been demonstrated in several of Grandma’s Stories. -  Amorella.

You remember once, a couple of years ago, you were talking to Aunt Patsy and Uncle Ernie (they were asking you questions about the books) and you mentioned that sometimes you sat in the bathtub and put your feet up out of the water and set them a few degrees from each other and between your feet you saw the empty space which appeared to you as grail-shaped. To you the Grail was/is on the ground between everyone’s feet, at least the symbol of it is. And, another example of consciousness from the body, when your feet were out of the water your toes appeared as flames in your mind – it was as if they were in a painting by the mystic William Blake.

Gads, Amorella. People will think I am a crazy man. Alas, though, it is true, at times I feel a mystic centeredness though anyone in herorhis right mind (including myself) would attribute it to imagination.

Yes. But how else could you dance with me, boy? You tell me? – Amorella.

I do not know. The only witnesses I have are the words, some fiction, some not so – and of course, the books and blog, which are real enough, at least to share.

With that, make it sharable as the grail between your feet would have it. Post. – Amorella.

Notes - Def. Heart, Soul, & Mind / Def. Parts of Speech & Grok / an electric motor

In an hour you will be at the dentist for a teeth cleaning. After that, who knows what errands and chores lurk about.

I think I need to put out the relevent dictionary definitions of heart, soul, and mind. I need to know where other people are coming from with the words before I add my two cents worth.

Heart:

• the heart regarded as the center of a person's thoughts and emotions, esp. love or compassion: hardening his heart, he ignored her entreaties | he poured out his heart to me | he has no heart.
• one's mood or feeling: they had a change of heart.
• courage or enthusiasm: they may lose heart as the work mounts up | Mary took heart from the encouragement handed out | I put my heart and soul into it and then got fired.

Soul:

1 the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal.
• a person's moral or emotional nature or sense of identity: in the depths of her soul, she knew he would betray her.
• emotional or intellectual energy or intensity, esp. as revealed in a work of art or an artistic performance: their interpretation lacked soul.
2 the essence or embodiment of a specified quality: he was the soul of discretion | brevity is the soul of wit.

Mind:

1 the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and to feel; the faculty of consciousness and thought: as the thoughts ran through his mind, he came to a conclusion | people have the price they are prepared to pay settled in their minds.
• a person's mental processes contrasted with physical action: I wrote a letter in my mind.
2 a person's intellect: his keen mind.
• a person's memory: the company's name slips my mind .
• a person identified with their intellectual faculties: he was one of the greatest minds of his time.
3 a person's attention: I expect my employees to keep their minds on the job.
• the will or determination to achieve something: anyone can lose weight if they set their mind to it.

From installed American-Oxford Dictionary software

**  **

The above is according to my American-Oxford software. All three words are nouns.

Therein lies the rub, old man. You must treat them as other parts of speech also. Post for now. – Amorella.

You both had lunch at Panera in that Carol enjoys their summer ‘berry’ salad. You had your usual soup and half a Cuban, which surprisingly, you found quite tasty. Carol was going to make a turkey meatloaf tonight, but changed her mind – too hot. You would just as soon have a couple of soda crackers and peanut butter for supper. Mid-afternoon. For the record, let’s go over the eight parts of speech. The general definitions are from ‘The Writing Tutor dot com’.

** **

Noun–is a word used to name a person, place, thing, or idea. A noun can be a proper noun or a common noun.

Pronoun–is a word that replaces a person, place, thing, or idea. Pronouns can act as subjects or objects, and some can show possession.

Adjective–is a word used to describe, or modify, a noun or a pronoun. An adjective describes “what kind,” “which one,” “how many,” or “how much.”

Verb–is a word that shows action or that indicates a condition or a state of being.

Adverb–is a word used to describe, or modify, a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. An adverb describes how, when, where, or to what extent the verb performs.
Preposition–is a word used to show a relationship between a noun or a pronoun and some other word in the sentence. Prepositions often show direction, location, or time.

Conjunction–is a word that connects other words or groups of words to each other. There are three types of conjunctions: coordinating, subordinating, and correlative.

Interjection–is a word used to express emotion that has no grammatical relationship to other words in the sentence. Interjections should be used sparingly and usually only belong in narrative dialogue.

Suddenly I feel like I am in the book Stranger in a Strange Land, and I am about to ‘grok’ Martian. The Wikipedia definitions below state that ‘Verification is Needed’; however, this works for me as background. I also did some editing.

** **

Etymology of Grok: Stranger in a Strange Land
Robert A. Heinlein originally coined the term grok in his 1961 novel as a Martian word that could not be defined in Earthling terms, but can be associated with various literal meanings such as "water", "to drink", "life", or "to live", and had a much more profound figurative meaning that is hard for terrestrial culture to understand because of its assumption of a singular reality.
According to the book, drinking is a central focus on Mars, where water is scarce. Martians use the merging of their bodies with water as a simple example or symbol of how two entities can combine to create a new reality greater than the sum of its parts. The water becomes part of the drinker, and the drinker part of the water. Both grok each other. Things that once had separate realities become entangled in the same experiences, goals, history, and purpose. –

To grok is to intimately and completely share the same reality or line of thinking with another physical or conceptual entity. Author Robert A. Heinlein coined the term in his best-selling 1961 book. In Heinlein's view, grokking is the intermingling of intelligence that necessarily affects both the observer and the observed. From the novel Grok means to understand so thoroughly that the observer becomes a part of the observed—to merge, blend, intermarry, lose identity in group experience. It means almost everything that we mean by religion, philosophy, and science—and it means as little to us (because of our Earthling assumptions) as color means to a blind man.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines grok as "to understand intuitively or by empathy; to establish rapport with" and "to empathize or communicate sympathetically (with); also, to experience enjoyment". Other forms of the word include groks (present third person singular), grokked (past participle) and grokking (present participle).
The OED definition is incorrect in that it is incomplete: the given, narrow definition of this term is beset by the challenges of similar, more encompassing terms such as gestalt and quiddity, that reference a much broader frame than we normally recognize.
To grok something is both to comprehend (relate intellectually) and to apprehend (relate emotionally) its quiddity, its essence, its being.
In an ideological context, a grokked concept becomes part of the person who contributes to its evolution by improving the doctrine, perpetuating the myth, espousing the belief, adding detail to the social plan, refining the idea or proving the theory.

The above from Wikipedia shows where your mind is before I begin “The Parts of Speech of Heart, Soul, and Mind in Context with the Merlyn Series and this Blog”. This is a good place for a break. Post. – Amorella.

Cereal for supper. You watched last night’s “Closer” and “Zen” on Masterpiece from two Sundays ago. And, now close to bedtime you are curious as to what I am going to say about the grammatical sub-construction of Heart, Soul, and Mind.

Think of each as a construction of a verbal pronoun. The importance is placed on what it does from its gravitational-like position in any given circumstance. Each does loosely fit the Oxford definition of grok: ‘as the heartansoulanmind understands intuitively, empathically and sympathetically by way of an inter-communication’ within a shell of pre-conscious through post conscious state of a holistic human or marsupial being’.

I am thinking I am caught in a “frozen thought”. I am looking for a ‘flow’ of consciousness rather than superficial islands surrounding the flow. If it is as a magnetic charge holding and separating each aspect (heart, soul, mind) in a constant flux of a real and/or imaginary state of “supposed or believed reality” then it would seem to me there is no way a human being could consciously separate one from the other. What would be the purpose of that in the story? How can one make an inner decision based on what cannot be known?

Through understanding, intuition, empathy, and sympathy.

         Where is reason?

In the understanding and intuition. The heartansoulanmind is a motor run on passion. All for tonight. Think on it. – Amorella.

An electric motor is something I can create an analogy with.

Yes. We can work on simplifying this tomorrow. – Amorella.

Note - ray of hope / VerB / beyond reason

Late morning. You had a dermatologist’s appointment with Dr. Mohammed Diap in Springdale at the corner of SR 747 and Progress Drive.

The doctor is quite personable with a good, slightly dark, sense of humor that I enjoy. He took care of three ‘spots’ on my face, which should be healed in seven to ten days. No skin cancer. I will go back to Dr. Diap in a minute if I need to; a very kind man. Carol is still busy watering the grass and trees – tomorrow we break a local weather record for the number of consecutive days over ninety degrees.

You were chatting with Carol but forget the topic other than the ‘gathering’ of the Lakeside community in your front yard and cul-de-sac on Saturday evening, 6 August. It reminded you that the lawn will need mowing, at least some of it, later in the week. Carol is in the shower and you have to turn off the water in about twenty minutes; then errands and lunch out.

What are Kassandra and Sophia going to talk about in scene two?

The bridge. Both are seemingly Platonic in their thinking, but soon find one is more like Aristotle (thought-wise).

I have something from the ‘bridge dedication’ in reference (though I cannot remember if it has actually been dedicated):

** **
Construction Site at the Styx
Temple dedicated to Asclepius, the Healer, as gate to bridge

Mario, Thales and Salaman stand above the shoreline staring down at the vast river-sea, watching piles of stone and wood being placed along the edge and back toward the city where Eleusis Street ends at the Styx nearly splitting the beautifully crescent-shaped beach in half. Seven hundred yards of beach east, and five hundred yards of beach west, each ending with rocky tower-like precipice.

The east rocky crag sets about a thousand feet high, two thousand feet out into the Styx, and the west river cliff measures fifteen hundred feet high, but it only extends out a thousand feet. Natural gate towers that would welcome hordes of ships, their sailors and cargo on Earth, set desolate, waiting for the eventual incoming. Instead the selected Dead arrive at the inlet community pools just north of the river’s muddy sands, rather than entering from the center of the Styx to the south.

Thales alone said nothing and shook his somber head sideways then towards the eerie leeward side of the hill above the town. Such is the breeze that blows to our west, passed Stone Hill and supposedly on to  the pit of Tartarus beyond, the place where the rebel gods were thrown by mighty Zeus for nine years, or so it is rumored. Never have we heard a word from them.

** **

And, I have a photo below from The Mikroikia. I probably have used this for description before but it seems appropriate to mention something of it, as it has been a while, (I cannot remember when we last visited). I think this was taken from Fickr.

You also have one you took of the ray eof light ‘storming’ into one of the room’s of Mother’s House. Place it here as a reminder of how the reader will eventually first witness a description of ‘s-nlight’ in Elysium by Mother Eve herself.

Wow. I remember taken this picture. I never thought of a use for it though (besides the photograph itself). The light still streaming through centuries after the devastation. In my eyes it is a scene of great gravity as well as one of hope for humanity the future.

See, you do have hope, at least in your soul, and in this circumstance it counts much more than you think. (Pun intended.) Post. – Amorella.

Post Office, lunch at Chipotle/Panera, and a stop at Kroger’s before heading home. Fortunately for you the one parking with shade was open for the taking with your handicap marker.

I received a response to ‘Natural Voice’ this morning and was told that the Lion software will be available next month and that they would send it free of charge, upgrade included. They gave me a new serial number but I accidently pushed the wrong button and lost their note. No complaints. The old program was great, as one could actually tweak the pronunciations to a particular dialect if sheorhe so desired.

This is a strange event, earlier today, on the way to the doctor’s office I saw a woman in her forties walking and she appeared as my mother when she was that age. Even her medium length hair semi-fit. I would have never mentioned it, but now I see an old fellow in the parking lot, who, from a side view looks like a spitting image of my father in his eighties – height, weight, bald on top, and the same awkward mannerism Dad had when he wasn’t using his cane. Reminds me a bit of the film Paul rented Saturday night, now I can’t remember the name of it. The theme was on fate, free will, and love. Philip Dick wrote the book version so I guess it would be classified as science fiction. Angelic- like creatures (not really) had to keep the world tweaked to A Plan and the two main characters falling in love was not a part of the plan of the day. The film was more thoughtful than I thought it would be (but then, at first, I didn’t realize Dick wrote the book). We almost rented SALT instead as we were looking for an action adventure. Shoot, the only title that comes to mind is “Accidental Tourist” which was obviously not this film. . . . Home where I could check: “The Adjustment Bureau” is the title.

Do you think the Matt Damon film plausible? – Amorella.

As a general concept I say, yes. Well, I would before these books but now, no. The plausibility is not so great because “The Chairman” could have rewritten the script at the very beginning. My concept of G---D is that at “full tilt” there is nothing G---D could not do (even surmounting the Piper) with the Free Will that G---D has. As G---D has given humans the gift of Free Will; humans cannot see G---D as omniscient without a conflict of interest. And, alas, a part of the basic human condition is ‘a conflict of interest’. Ah, back to politics and religion and the reasons to not argue either one too strenuously, at least reasons for me not to get into such arguments.

You pulled up the missing photo from your external drive and have now included it. You think of the unseen “Chairman” as G---D when more likely in our context in the books and blog, the “Chairman would be the Piper.”

I would not have thought that.

I know. You somehow equate G---D with All Knowing and Omniscent (cultural) when (from a human perspective in the books and blog) G---D as I use the word would be as a VerB. It is an important existential matter of basic grammar. – Amorella.

         Too deep for me, Amorella.

In here at least, G---D is not a person, place or thing.

I don’t even like using the three hyphens or dashes. It seems blasphemous for consideration. The witness of such an angelic-like event in my mind (imaginary or not) was an otherwise empty ‘pocket’ if you will, of absolute no power. This was as I ‘danced’. You say it was with you, Amorella, that I danced. If that is the case, then you, at that moment were an empty pocket of about seven feet by three feet in which I danced. It was a mystical experience. If indeed as you say, that was you, then ‘G---D as a personal concept is so far removed from human reality that speculation of such an entity or movement, if you will, is beyond my comprehension. This is the reason I would just as soon stay away from the subject at this level as well as at an ‘angelic-like’ level. I am best, at my most comfortable level talking about themes in Paradise Lost and Moby Dick. It is not my wish to disrespect ‘my’ concept of G---D. And, I can say this and still be comfortable as an agnostic. – it is a matter of self-experience under self-hypnosis, imagination and culture.

I like to catch you on edge. Add the title, VerB. Post. – Amorella.

Carol and I spent the evening watching TV shows from last week. Very relaxing and it is almost time for bed. Grammar is the key to all this. If I were a detective, I would say that is the case. No matter what I imagine, what is real, what is unconscious expectation – whatever it is – for me to understand myself, to better understand what my humanity is – it will depend as it has depended, on grammar. Grammar is dependent upon reason. You say the heart and soul are not dependent upon grammar for communication, but in this context, is the mind dependent or not, on communication?

In context, it is not. – Amorella.

Now, that is a surprise. If each, the heart, the soul, and the mind were separate personalities, like in the book Sybil, would this still make sense in context?

No, it would not. You are looking for an analogy for some specific insight as to how the three communicate. You are looking into the area of the unconscious mind, but the level is undeliverable in grammatical terms.

The way we think, the way we describe angelic communication, is we say it is telepathic for lack of a better word.

Telepathic as a word, has expectations and cultural motifs. It is not a good word in context.

Well, here’s the thing, Amorella, if you can put G---D into an encasement of a part of speech, a VerB; then what I am asking is far less. I don’t think you are being honest here. That is, I don’t feel I am being honest with myself here. This is evidence to me that you are a personality of my own, and not anything more, that the more is my secret hope for more, the one in seven billion chance, that you have/had a Reality of at least that of a Platonic Form. This is not an expectation, it was a tiny hope that anything is a possibility.

The one thing that gets your goat here, boy, is that you do not like it when anyone, even yourself, puts G---D into any clothes other than a concept that is understandable and without power. Is this not the very thing you hate, the arrogant and blasphemous (in your mind) concept that you, as a human being, can defend G---D?

Your point is well taken, and I have no immediate response.

In this game, I have the last word, my man, not you or anyone else. – Amorella.

I wonder, should I back away. Out of respect for the greatest of odds, I back away. A respect for a possibility not a probability. A respect for my dignity and out of humility to myself, to my lack of knowledge. You promised me three books and you delivered. You are working on the fourth, a book that will have my name attached as author. A fluke, an accident of nature, a misunderstanding . . . who knows the cause. The effect is the evidence in blog and drafts.

         Post, old man. – Amorella.

I wish I could be positive, one hundred percent sure, without doubt, but I cannot and remain who I am (to myself).

You are an agnostic beyond reason, boy. It is as simple as that. – Amorella.
