Notes

Family left early afternoon. Leaf raking for tomorrow’s collection. Catching up on copied TV shows. Research on ancient civilizations.
I have found nothing useful so far. The scholarly sites are not significant for help and most of the sites are more on the outlandish concepts, such as the one in The Charlemagne’s Pursuit actually. One can’t go around proofing strange theories not true. One can’t just say, “prove me wrong,” to be then declared ‘right’. I found some discussion of an ancient civilization, in Antarctica no less. Then someone or two pops up with the theory of ‘ancient astronauts’ with space vehicles of one sort or another. I read a lot of this sort of stuff when I was young and now I am too old and without the energy or passion to reread much of the same. I have read Campbell and Jung also. Again, nothing of proof of an ancient civilization particularly before the Bronze Age. Such could be possible, of course, but in my mind mythology covers lots of territory as people wanted/demanded explanations for real findings/discoveries and historical events, i.e. dinosaur bones and the Trojan War.
A false trail is not the end of the world, old man. Something will come up, give it another day, or even two. Post. – Amorella.
