Mid-afternoon. You just read a long letter from Craig B. about the happenings in and around Tucson this last week. He and Alta had worked for Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and know her as well as her aide, Gabe Zimmerman and Federal Judge Roll who died; a next door neighbor, Parker Summons, was killed in a rescue helicopter crash; and a family member was engaged to Federal Agent Terry, who was killed in a firefight with bandits along the Arizona border. As Craig is involved in several Red Cross full time volunteer positions he was on duty during each event and thus connected to all three separate incidences. A very tough week for Craig and Alta who also is a VA hospital volunteer. To you the tone of the letter is like his being a witness in a war zone. You cannot imagine such a terrible and sorrowful week. When friends are feeling hurt, you feel it also.
Call it a day and start fresh tomorrow. – Amorella.
I find it so difficult to express such events. They weigh on my heart.
This is a sorrowful example of the weight of heartansoulanmind, boy. No weighing scales but understood by fellow human beings nevertheless.
