Notes - Series Delimitations

Late afternoon. Paul arrived home a short time ago after a day of light surgeries (sports injuries) at Akron Children’s, a satellite branch of the Cleveland Clinic where his residency is for the next eight weeks.

In the books you are the Supervisor of the Dead for the Marsupial humanoids and the Earthling humans and are responsible (Supervisor) for the Milky Way Galaxy (I assume). Do you have any other part to play, i.e. the Soki and the tiny alien rooted in Richard, Robert’s twin in “The Brothers” segments?

You have forgot again, orndorff. I play the Supervisor but the reader has already been taken (in book four) to the tree root, if you will, of the universe where the Milky Way Galaxy exists through my ‘expertise’. There are forests of universes, boy, rather than Supervisor you can title me Service Yeoman in this context.

So, you are as a metaphysical comptroller of five universes?

The other four universes are nearby, orndorff. Service Yeoman-Comptroller is a better expression. English is not the best language for translation. Servant is probably simpler, too simple. ServeAunt ties best contextually as far as the metaphysics of the six books of Merlyn’s Mind series are concerned.

I see a hint of Medieval order here.

Western civilization Medieval order, yes. I’m stuck with your personal background culture and education, orndorff. To have this otherwise, your individual authenticity would come into question. I am ServeAunt to five universes equally and am thus usually set in more comfortable holistic clothing. Let’s say an individual is equally competent in five specific university majors. Science, Math, and Architecture being three of the, in this case, "sub-majors" within a larger order of the combination of one larger major: MetaphysicsanPhysics. The other two "sub-majors" are equally important, but they are, concept-wise, wordless here. Let’s let it go at that. The reader will see examples from this drift in thought as book four continues. Post. – Amorella.

From what I can see the series is going to be pretty far ‘out there’ as far as its delimitations are concerned.

Where do you think it is now, boy? – Amorella.
