Notes - This agnostic's expanding sense of G---D

You left Cleveland near noon and arrived home by four-thirty after a stop at Kroger’s before coming home. The trip was uneventful for which you are thankful. While eating lunch at Potbelly’s at Polaris north of Columbus you had a thought about G---D and how this expansion of the story to five universes has changed your perspective. Particularly as Betweeners are as ServeAunts and not classified as humans would normally classify metaphysically oriented angelic beings.

Somewhere in my agnostic head I decided some time ago to place three dashes between G and D. Jewish students I have had over the years wrote God as G-d, which I grew to like because limited the concept of God to letters of the alphabet seemed somehow disrespectful even for me an agnostic.

This returns you to “the Dance”. Unconsciously this event was real enough to expand your sense of G-d to G---D. These novels are driven by that event and the spiritual expansion that was awakened through the event.

Such a short Dance. Obviously this was much more meaningful to me that I had/have thought. The books are a ripple effect, or seem to be. This is difficult to grasp, yet the books are evidence of something, of some change of thought within. When I think of a fictional Betweener serving five universes at once I reflect on Amorella because she is the closest being (imaginary or not) that fits such a description. Strangely perhaps, I do not think of her in terms of space-time. Five universes are not that many to manage whatever it is that needs managing, that needs a hand at consciousness and perhaps heartansoulanmind on a far different level than human or marsupial can relate to in any manner.

What this does more is to allow me a much broader and deeper interpretation of (as what the Marsupial-humanoids) call “the Creator of All Things and Beyond”. Such irony in that I still think of myself as an agnostic because I still have doubts. The event allowed me to keep my doubts, which are a part of my free will as a human being. That is how I view this culturally. This perception allows me to sense G---D as having something akin to a heartansoulanmind, something I can relate to. This is an intimate core of humanity, a thread of common thought shared by the marsupial-humanoids in the books, but also within my mind.

This expansion of thinking of imaginary relativity to a Betweener and to the Beyond of many universes not unlike and also unlike any universes we can conceive of that gives me a greater sense of ‘freedom of the mind’ than I would have otherwise thought. This is a metaphysics without a sense of power, a machinery or system of a sort with a heartansoulanmind of its own. An Independent Being deserving great respect, a Being tolerant of an agnostic, tolerant of our humble though magnificent species. The delimitations of the Merlyn series allows for this because I allow for it. – rho

This will do. The explanation is your own and placing it in the blog will not let it go. This helps set the stage for the fictional metaphysics to evolve within the framework of the rest of the Merlyn series. Post. – Amorella.
