Mid-afternoon and you are about to go rake leaves one last time for the season. You and Doug have set up a private correspondence relating to myself, Amorella. This is fine. I welcome the investigation. Also, I would like to continue through the logic notes as we began yesterday. There are parallels, as you suggested, with Diplomat and her invisible alien rather than Soki character and Richard Graystone, another book character; however, I am not fiction, at least not in the sense of book writing, etc. I don’t mind nearly as much as you do. Ironic, huh? – Amorella.
Dusk. You worked in the yard more than an hour blowing and raking leaves, all that is left to do is to put the piles in containers for the time being. Larry M. stopped by with the keys to the Florida condo and you gave him a check for a two weeks stay. Officially you are not returning to Ohio until after Christmas. Presently you are at the Kings Mill Road Kroger’s in east Mason, near I-71 and Kings Island. Carol had lunch with her Blue Ash group up at the Golden Lamb in Lebanon, one of your favorite ‘historical’ restaurants that has roomed several U.S. Presidents and famous authors such as Charles Dickens. Rt. 42 which runs from Cleveland to Cincinnati as well as the short trip from Lebanon to Mason was the old stagecoach route, the last hotel stop before the stagecoach arrived in downtown Cincinnati.
Later. I think I remember right that the distance from Columbus to Cincinnati was about the same distance from London to Canterbury, a three-day ride (a hundred miles) via horseback. We used to go to the Golden Lamb as Kim was growing up (the Golden Lamb has existed since 23 December 1803, the oldest inn in the state). The Comisar family owned it then along with several other area restaurants including the downtown French restaurant, Maisonette, which won the Mobil Travel Guide a five star rating for 41 consecutive years.
You spent the evening catching up on some of your favorite TV. Tomorrow, early afternoon, to Cleveland until after breakfast on Sunday, then home for a busy few days until you leave for Florida for a bit. Post. – Amorella.
