Noonish.
Carol is about to leave for her Blue Ash Retired Teachers’ luncheon and you
have to take the cat to the vet at fourteen hundred hours. You did your
exercises early and have cut back today as yesterday you hit the two thousand
calorie mark by adding a Graeter’s child’s scoop if cherry pieces and chocolate
chip, three hundred or so calories and then for good measure added some
Graeter’s hot fudge on top of that. A really delicious treat that was worth a
meal in itself, then you had supper after your Potbelly sandwich for lunch.
Carol had asked if you had wanted to share a chicken salad sandwich but you
wanted your own, a wreck that has slices of meat and cheese and other goodies.
You could have eaten half and taken the rest home for supper but you didn’t. It
is no wonder your blood sugar was high.
Thanks,
as if I needed reminding.
You need to see it in print, otherwise it is
a fleeting thought here and gone with nothing more until another fleeting
thought to be here and gone.
No
one cares about these things, Amorella. This might as well be in a private
journal.
Privacy is very much your personal style,
orndorff, but keeping it ‘open to the public’ keeps your mind from drifting out
too far out, too far beyond reason. In that sense I’m here as a public service,
boy. – Amorella
I
imagine poor Merlyn and Arthur are sitting around waiting for me to take them
through their parts and I’m fussing around with other things, diversions that
life brings.
The Dead have diversions too, boy. They
don’t need you to have a good time all on their own. – Amorella
I
realize that, Amorella, it was just a figure of speech.
You haven’t been able to come up with a
proper fourth personality for the roundtable, that is, other than Diplomat’s
biological mother Pyl Williams Burroughs. She would be a good choice, but
Friendly or Hartolite would be better because they are marsupial humanoid.
Diplomat was born before September 2001.
Night. You
are thinking about bed after a turkey soup supper and watching two or three
DVRed TV shows with Carol.
I
did gather up material on Diplomat from book two and chapters one and two of
book three. I had forgotten most of it. No need to remember something I can
easily look up. I encountered some surprises. I believe Diplomat is ten years
old now and no doubt has the formal education of a doctorial student in half a
dozen areas of expertise. I certainly hope she has not reached puberty yet. I
don’t know if I can keep up with her sarcastic mouth.
She has matured mentally but thankfully for
you not yet physically. – Amorella
All
the more reason to have group-mothers Hartolite or Friendly be with her at the
roundtable.
Make it Friendly because she has the greater
in-your-face-text experience memory from the beginning of the Pouch Text
selections back in book one. Diplomat will do the introductions of herself
first, her ‘family mother’, and you. Then you can introduce me. – Amorella
The sparks will fly. Diplomat already thinks this is her concept,
her show.
Friendly will keep her in line.
I
doubt that.
This is what happens when you have people
sitting around a dining room table. Your dining room table will do nicely, orndorff. All for
tonight. Post. - Amorella
