You think you have nothing to say yet you are reluctant to talk about it at the same time. Five hours ago you met with Laney at Panera on Mason-Montgomery Road while her son was up in Mason at a soccer practice. She bought you a diet Pepsi while she had a hot drink. You had a good chat then you both focused on their trip to London and Paris this summer. You have all of your relevant material to give and she took it. You had travel advice for her as you usually do and she listened, but you are well aware Laney will do what she, Jay, and kids want, and this is fine with you. – Amorella
Laney is an independent thinker and you have great admiration and respect for her. While she is your muse, you like to consider yourself as an old uncle (of sorts) to her that would not be impossible as her mother and you are the same age. You consider Laney to have power over you (similar to the power daughter has over you).
I do not have the words to express all the feelings I have for her (nor do I for daughter either). This is strange because the words I have for Carol are the same ones I wrote for her when we were dating, engaged and then married. She still has those words stashed one place or another. I would not change a one of them.
