Early afternoon. More chores and errands today as you are readying to return to Cleveland within two hours or so. Last night you and Carol relaxed with a Papa John’s large pizza, half veggie, half works while watching the DVRed PBS “Sherlock” – ‘The Hound of the Baskerville’s’. The only one you had not seen. Your favorite summer show begins this week: “The Closer” [followed by a new show, Perception] and “White Collar” and “Covert Affairs” also begin along with “Suits” and “Rizzoli & Iles”. Plus, tonight’s Masterpiece Theatre is a new “Inspector Lewis”.
Good shows, one and all, at least to Carol and myself. She has her other favorites as do I, but we do watch these together in the summer.
You don’t feel guilty watching so much television? – Amorella
Before retirement I would have, but then I didn’t. Now, who gives a damn what I watch? What am I doing that I should feel guilty for not doing something else? What a pissy question, Amorella.
It seems to have irritated you. – Amorella
Okay. A writer should spend more of his time actually writing.
You need to keep yourself honest, boy, even in the little things otherwise you get mentally bogged down and don’t know why. – Amorella
I haven’t been writing.
You have been researching and thinking about subjects related to the writing. – Amorella
I was hoping something would come out of the spectrum assignment I made for myself but here it was an exercise. It was fun though so I shouldn’t complain. I already have the visuals of a cathedral, a one-room schoolhouse and a castle as images of heartansoulanmind. I was thinking of ‘color’ as a personal perception of reality not reality itself; it fit as a quale.
This is something for the back of your mind to work on during the return trip to Cleveland. More metaphysics to go, boy. – Amorella
You need to think of the soul as a place. The one-room schoolhouse works in an analogy by a description of the place. What does the soul look like, that would cause you to think one-room schoolhouse? That is, how would its USE fit within a metaphysical place (framework: immortal and protective of heartanmind) for learning? Post. - Amorella
