Late morning. You are waiting at Brennan's
doctor's Cleveland Clinic building just east of Beachwood Place Mall on the
south side of Cedar. Paul is home unwell and in bed. Carol and Kim (who are
better than yesterday) took Brennan in. Paul 'doctored' them up last night and
their fluids appear replenished this morning. Yesterday you asked about rank
orders as far as Elysium is concerned. In The Rebellion a few
better-known gods and goddesses played a part and these aspects were posted
earlier. In Great Merlyn's Ghost Merlyn shares his character with far
fewer, mostly for the sake of economy and more focused storytelling (converting
book one to two books in one, books one and book five. This conversion is from
my perspective, as you consciously know very little about book five. - Amorella

I woke up early this
morning wondering if you were gone for good, Amorella. My brain works better,
if it has an order to it and rank is part of that order. My mind is looser but
first a grammatical order that stems from "Supervisor". The capital
can be for emphasis and the added emphasis is the italicized 'the(e)' as the preceding adjective.
You,
Amorella, play the part of the Supervisor as well as Hades (only in the sense
that the Dead believe the Supervisor is the brother of Zeus as he seems to have
power almost equal or equal to his younger brother Zeus). Zeus also upholds the
book's sense of 'Divine Justice'. You are a 'Betweener' as the Supervisor and
the other 'Betweeners' are Athena [Warrior who blows the final trumpet of
Judgment] who equals (in symbolic representation) the Angel Michael; Apollo [the
sometimes misunderstood Prophet] equals the Angel Gabriel; and Artemis [the
Balancer] who equals the Angel Raphael. That is how it was to be in The
Rebellion. However, this to me appears too complicated as far as Merlyn the
storyteller goes. Merlyn has to simplify all this rank and order, yet at the
same time explain to the Living that there is indeed a rank and order at least
as far as Merlyn sees it. I would like Merlyn to be as honest to a fact as he
can be, knowing that he too, like Apollo, can be misunderstood or mistranslated
(just as I, Richard, can be).
No need to further explain as the more you
say the more muddled this rank/order becomes. Basically this stems from your
desire not to offend whatever the gods/goddesses are out there in your
imagination or possibly in, again, your sense of G---D, the Creator of All
Things and Beyond. (1114)
1143 hours. We are at Target pharmacy
and groceries. Carol and I are waiting in the car with Brennan. I appreciate
the irony I find myself in. All these words on Betweeners and Angels which I
capitalize out of respect even though my imagination works to the point I am
not sure (in writing and thinking only) where 'reality' ends and 'Reality'
begins. Honesty in this 'experimental' blog is extremely important in that it
is all I have. The irony of course is that I am also an honest agnostic. There
is nothing I can do about this.
The above is not for me I, Amorella,
understand this more completely than orndorff does. Orndorff is self-conscious
because he knows that once in a while he has a reading human audience who might
wonder why he continues blog and books, because this aspect is not nearly so
pleasurable as the creation of dark lettered pixel words on a white sheet of
paper-like pixels. His behavior is a necessity for survival in two environments
at once, one physical and one spiritual. The specific point of conflict is in
understanding what is spiritual and what is imaginary, that's the crux, thus
the comfort with capital letters on Betweeners and Angels and the three dashes between
the capital letters G and D.
1211 hours. Hypocrisy comes to mind.

hypocrisy
must politics be the
perennial benchmark of hypocrisy? dissimulation,
false virtue, cant, posturing, affectation,
speciousness, empty talk, insincerity, falseness, deceit, dishonesty,
mendacity, pretense, duplicity; sanctimoniousness, sanctimony, pietism,
piousness; informal phoniness,
fraud. ANTONYMS sincerity.

You are home. Does anything in the
definition ring a bell? - Amorella
No. None at all, surprisingly. (1241)
Post. - Amorella
What about the rank and order?
Later, dude. I'd rather you think on why
hypocrisy came to mind in the first place. - Amorella

hours. The boys are about ready for bed. Kim is going to work in the morning;
Paul is staying unwell at home. I don't know why I consider myself a hypocrite
when I have done nothing hypocritical at least relating to the blog and books.
Otherwise, I'm human enough (joke).
I'll let you know, as I have, when you are less
than tolerable one way or another. Let's wait until the boys are upstairs
before I continue. - Amorella
I have been looking over a Wikipedia
world cultural chart and it shows there are ten main languages with nine subsets
and nineteen cultures. In the First Rebellion I have twelve cultures. (2034)
As
far as the Second Rebellion is concerned let's go with what you have from
Wikipedia. Copy down both the modern languages and cultures from the map. List
them and source. - Amorella

ready to go to bed; and this is after an afternoon nap.
