Kim is home with the stomach flu as is Carol
and Brennan. Paul took Owen to daycare and you have a 'touch' of the flu but
not nearly so bad as Kim and Carol. You attribute to not washing your hands as
much as you should, but are leery of overindulgent speculation before the day
ends.
The flu will no doubt kick in sometime
today. So far, so good though. I ran some errands and picked up a McD's (#2) breakfast
and a Cleveland Plain Dealer while I was at it. First time I have had a #2 in
years. We always pick up #1's. Kim just came downstairs with the B man, who
appears to be better today, either that or he is very happy to have
"EM-AH" home with him. -- Watched the B man as Kim napped.
Kim is fixing him a bottle though it is a
little early for lunch. You can check your email and we will go ahead with more
on Pouch 12 after the description. Let's have him appear in Elysium for the
first time. Whom will he meet, you wonder. Who do you think would greet Merlyn,
Mother or Panagiotakis? - Amorella
He may be more comfortable with an old
shaman like himself. Well, I would be. Mother would not make me comfortable
because I would be too concerned about displeasing her.
Just by your being there? - Amorella
Frankly, I suppose that's it. I would
feel the need to apologize for interrupting her daily schedule. Rather awkward,
but that's what comes to mind first. When I first met the daughter of a shaman
I took an immediate liking to her, not uncomfortable at all, and that's in real
life.
Merlyn's not you, boy; he would rather meet
Mother first. - Amorella
She's not my first choice. She would never be my first choice. (1048)
One of several reasons why I am writing this and
not you. Post. - Amorella

hours. I was reading over a post from 1 March 2011 (as someone had read this in
the last day) and this caught my attention (I suppose because Merlyn is about
to enter Elysium for the first time).

. . . In
here, Betweener is as a rank. You need to realize and understand the
distinction as the story is going to take a more metaphysical turn.
You used to give a lecture about angels when introducing selections of Paradise
Lost to your seniors. Medieval categories, ranks, if you will. Some angels had
more ‘enlightenments’ than others. We will use this concept as did Milton. No
‘Hell’s Angels” in these books though. No need. Think. What need do humans have
to create such creatures? Such ‘angelic’ creatures are a human invention when
no need of power exists. The Supervisor is by HeranHis spiritual nature an
ecologically oriented chameleon.
I think I am not understanding this correctly, that is, I
am not using the correct words here.
The characters in the story, being human still, think the Rebellion is about
power and control but it is not. This will be lost in translation, boy, when
negotiations take place. Misunderstandings that are understandable, but wrong
nevertheless. This mistranslation goes a step or two above Betweener in rank,
but not to the Ultimate Being inferred existing in the stories. The
metaphysical Machinery of the Spirit is driven by individual human passion or
so it appears, but in here, passion is as a metaphysical form of energy.

Is
the Supervisor also a rank as far as
the story goes? And, the Amorella?
Are you as a rank as far as the blog and books are concerned? I always think of
you, imagination or no, as a Betweener. Above you state, "this mistranslation
goes a step or two above Betweener in rank."
I
realize the post above was in reference to The Rebellion. I need to keep
these points in mind for my own sense of 'order'. Mother, of course, among
human dead is first, the cornerstone of heartansoulanmind as all living humans
are connected to her both physically and spiritually. You, Amorella, play the
part of the Supervisor, a noun by its
wordy nature, a rank order. In The Rebellion the rank order of Greek gods and
goddesses is well known and would have been known by Merlyn who, as a Druid,
knows ancient Greek and Latin. What is the Greek word for "the
Supervisor" in this case? I am confused as to how this is going to play
out in these remembered scenes. Merlyn is storytelling to the present Living.
You bring up a good point, orndorff. Let me
get back to you on this. Post. - Amorella
Did I misread you here? (1618)
