        Dusk. You (all) had a good day and you found yourself enjoying the Memorial Day parade more than you thought you would. Also, you are a bit embarrassed by your FB comment on Sunday.

A visit. Kim, Paul and the grandsons, one-year old Brennan and three-year old Owen. We are watching a parade tomorrow morning. The excitement builds. To honor the Dead at any time is a good thing. None of us would be here without them.

         2034 hours. I was thinking of May Day. I was also making a leap from the dead veterans to all the Dead. I'm sure the comment was confusing to some.

         You don't see much difference between war dead and dead?

         On some level I don't. I would be better not broadcasting my thoughts on the subject.

         I'd rather be a wall than on the floorboards if that is what you mean. Who wouldn't? Unless it is with people I know well after a few minutes of conversation I would (do) run out of things to say so that's that.
