Just after noon, local time. You were
out taking dead wood out of honeysuckle bushes and generally trimming in the
area next to Lewis' driveway (where several trees were recently taken down. Air
Authority is here for a cyclical maintenance on the central air conditioning
unit inside and out. The heat and humidity are rapidly building for the day.
1207 hours. Next week the city will be
around to grind the tree and bush trimmings. I have more to do, but morning is
the best time. We have been playing with our shorthair cats, Jadah and Spooky.
We do miss Ellie even though she can be a pill to live with. J and S do play
from time to time, mostly chase. Even though S chases J once she catches J she
is immediately submissive. Spooky is in an adolescent stage and fun to watch
because of her. Here are both at the top of the steps. I used the iPhone with flash to capture Spooky's yellow eyes but it turns out, at least in here, Jadah has yellow eyes also. In the natural light Jadah's eyes are jade green. The photo makes them both look spooky.

You have a lack of experience too, boy. Your
seemingly lifetime of notes show it. Very amusing. - Amorella
This is probably because, most of
life, I thought I was from someplace else. I don't know why but I did. Then when I
had my DNA done I was brought to the reality that I am just like everyone else.
This was very good to know because it never seemed like I was really supposed
to be here.
This
stems from all those childhood stories about how you weren't supposed to live,
as you were so small at birth and then lost weight, but you pulled through and
nobody knew why. That's the way the stories were. They were happy you did, of
course, but that was always a family question usually followed with, "You
shouldn't be here, but are." The tone was always detached and reflective
at the same time. No one suggested in the stories that you were a 'miracle
baby' like people sometimes do, and that was all right as far as you were/are
concerned. Don't you think that might be the reason, boy? - Amorella
1224
hours. That does make sense. At least it's a better rationalization than I
could come up with.
2217 hours. I
have been working on Grandma 19 for about two hours straight and am enjoying
every minute. I am stopping for the night but should be able to finish this in
the morning.
You had errands and chores concluding with
half of a large Papa John pizza for supper as you watched the news then the
first of the new "Rizzoli and Isles" shows for the summer season.
Post. - Amorella
