Notes - a step forward / continuing lines / unthought

You are within a few hands of noon local time, boy and have been up but not fairing so well because of lower back and both hips. You took a pill shortly after breakfast, did a little email, got sleepy, napped, napped better after Carol pulled a blanket up, eventually woke and took a bath. Now feeling better but not fully up to your normal par for the course of morning. - Amorella

1201 hours. We cleaned and dusted most of the downstairs -- looking better, as if we might have guests, which I am not expecting any time soon. We do see Jim and Jeanne on Thursday though, and on Monday I have lunch with Bud C. and Rich G. at our usual Chinese restaurant. Looking forward to that too.

You are beginning to feel more like yourself physically, though you realize inwardly that the physical is hopefully a slow path to oblivion. - Amorella

Yep. The cynical agnostic is back with new-freshman-in-high-school Steve's old banner line for his friends in the Class of 1960: "Cheer up, things are bound to get worse."

The phrase has served you long and well, so, "Cheer up, boy." - Amorella

1227 hours. I put the new working notes in a separate document to keep things clear on this Brothers 21 conclusion, Amorella
You don't need to tell me what you are doing, young man. How long have we known one another? - Amorella

I don't know, sometime in the 1980's I imagine. I don't really know. Why do you ask such a question?

I was being sarcastic, boy. - Amorella

1300 hours. I have a few more lines; however Carol want to get lunch at Marx Bagels, which is fine with me. Here's what I have:

As Richard looked at the traffic and the people moving in street light order he had a flash of thought on how it might be as being only an existential heartansoulanmind walking across the street. "The most basic form of consciousness," rolled out.

         "What's that?"

"I am thinking on minimal consciousness," acknowledged Richard.

"We hoped no less in the operating room," chuckled Rob as they crossed with the light he added, "I'm ready for coffee with cream and a cream-filled doughnut."

The most basic form of spiritual consciousness, human consciousness, continued Richard in silent reflection.

         Post. - Amorella

Mid-afternoon. You had a delicious and generous portion of tuna fish on a honey wheat bagel with half a dill on the side, plus two wonderfully good oatmeal raisin cookies, similar to what you would have bought on the east side of Cleveland at Marx Hot Bagels ["This is not a restaurant, it is an experience."] on Kenwood Road in Blue Ash. You brought your own drinks and ate in the parking lot shade of Carol's older blue Accord and watched the cars go by. Now you are in Rose Hill sitting under another shade tree. Carol is on page 143 of Sandra Brown's Lethal and you are ready to continue. Let's get to it. - Amorella

1518 hours. I looked at it in the document and am drawing a blank.

Let's continue with the drafting here in the notes. - Amorella

The most basic form of spiritual consciousness, human consciousness, continued Richard in silent reflection. Let's say grammar is the spirit of metaphysical order and we are in Schrodinger's bakery and we are at a street crossing. Robert and I are as physical entanglement; each in his spiritual entanglement and appears as a simple jellyfish in form and function rather than in our physically twin form with added function.

If thought is as particles and waves like light then, at least in English, it moves from left to right across the page as we two physically move across the street.

Ideas can spin into mind and enhance into words that vibrate into sound frequencies when spoken. Words that may be meaningless and purposeless spoken alone but when enhanced into sentences and paragraphs balloon on the page from a spiritual form, let's say as passion, giving function to the jellyfish-like joy of discovery, the creative spirit within.

Grammar then entangles the words as they gather and move with the action or state of being verb. Each word is theatre as is one of the many faces of Lillian Gish. - 187 w

You are home and relaxed. Later, before dusk you plan on mowing the yard. - Amorella

I am coming along in piecing this together. I don't know if it will fit within the word frame but I'm going to complete it first, then if I revise that's fine. (1619)

So far, so good, orndorff. I sense you are enjoying the challenge. - Amorella

Strange, I don't feel any pressure to 'get 'er done' as people sometimes say. I appear to be following some calmer inner pace conducive to completed book one.

It is your natural inner world, boy. Welcome to it and enjoy the refreshment of quality quiet time. Later, dude. Post. - Amorella

1948 hours. We watched "Unforgettable" and "Major Crimes" then we had half of a large Papa John's most excellent pizza for supper after which I mowed most of the front lawn. Exhaustingly warm. I'll finish it tomorrow. I've been cooling down for at least fifteen minutes. The heat just rolls off me like I'm an oven. I should have worked off part of the pizza anyway.

Think about how that is. Imagine yourself as an existential heartansoulanmind, how it exists as nearly a separation from the body, nearly but not completely because the mind is connected to the brain not in form but in function. - Amorella

What is the attachment, the connector? Nerve pulses? In the story the Dead remember the body enough that they can almost 'see' it -- as an armless person sometimes feels pain in a limb he does not have. I am thinking of an article about light posted the other day.

Knots of light
Credit: Mark Dennis.

Light may seem to travel a straight line, but sometimes it gets twisted into knots. In January 2010 researchers reported using a computer-controlled hologram to twist beams of laser light into pretzel shapes. The holograms, which direct the flow of light, were specially created to send light in certain directions and shapes.
The researchers used a field of mathematics known as knot theory to study the resulting loops. These swirls of light, called optical vortices, could have implications for future laser devices, the physicists said.

I was thinking these 'knots of light' could be as connectors between the heartansoulanmind and the body but for plausibility the connectors also have to be an entanglement into the brain level -- something that is and is not both at once -- the connector as it were between a holistic mind and a biochemical body -- some sort of symbiotic relationship between what is and what is not -- an imaginative metaphor or a series of imaginative metaphors like the old series of working generators at Hoover Dam in Nevada. That's it, I'm done for now. Nothing in my head. No thoughts, no words forthcoming -- a symbiotic dream of being while not being.

How about the attraction of the soul to the heartanmind in the first place? What does it have to gain by the connection? What does it have to lose by the eventual disconnection to the body? - Amorella

This is interesting; something unthought (before by me) but understood within the experience of the living and the dying.

Dusk, and it is time for relaxation. Tomorrow we continue. - Amorella
