Notes -snow / Ch 1-6 Word Stats / embodiment with a smile /

1238 hours. The snow began falling at 1156 and the flakes are larger now. This is a very pretty winter scene as the grass is about to be fully covered, certainly with the next half hour.

Earlier you and Carol were working at cleaning up more of the basement. You have more to do but stopped to take a hot bath to help elevate arthritic pains which were not unexpected due to the change in the weather.

Late afternoon. You decided to go to Chipotle/Panera for lunch, then you looked for a small tree for the porch or living room at Home Depot and Lowe’s – found nothing suitable. The new tree is taller than expected, seven and a half feet with an eight-foot ceiling in the living room. Plus, the cats want to chew on it. Carol stopped at Hallmark who were closing at two-thirty, then to Kroger’s for a few items and home where you both decided to shovel the driveway and walk with about two inches of sludgy snow built up. Now you are relaxing. Shoveling wet snow for twenty-five minutes is enough exercise for the day, boy. Why don’t you put in the Word reading stats for each chapter as I think it tells you more than the number of words used. Drop them in here.

1609 hours. The stats do show some consistency; which is pretty cool considering you are mostly in charge.

We work together, boy. Perhaps in some strange way, we are manifestations of each other when writing. – Amorella

manifestation  -  noun

an event, action, or object that clearly shows or embodies something, esp. a theory or an abstract idea: the first obvious manifestations of global warming.

• the action or fact of showing an abstract idea: the manifestation of anxiety over the upcoming exams.

• a symptom or sign of an ailment: a characteristic manifestation of Lyme disease.

• a version or incarnation of something or someone: Purity and Innocence and Young Love in all their gentle manifestations.

• an appearance of a ghost or spirit.

ORIGIN late Middle English: from late Latin manifestatio(n-), from the verb manifestare ‘make public.’

1615 hours. Sometimes, Amorella, I sense a whiff of spookiness; but I clothe it with my own brand of humor to be comfortable with it.

Personally, I like “an action that clearly shows and embodies something.” Post. - Amorella

        Ha! ;-)

You had homemade chili for supper, very welcome treat on a day like today. Jared L. cleaned your driveway without your knowing until he completed the work and was almost finished with his mother’s driveway. You thanked him and told him you would share the fuel for the blower. He hopes it will not be that bad of a Winter. After supper you watched tonight’s “Bones” after the last two episodes of “Covert Affairs”. Carol is talking with Mary Lou on the phone. and you just finished tonight’s “Grimm” which ended up with a preview about next week’s episode that includes a ‘Santa (with) Claws’. You are still chuckling at the concept. – Amorella

2240 hours. What a sense of humor the writers of “Grimm” have. I love it; such good modern moral faery tales. I really enjoy the series. All in all it has been a good day.
