Mid-morning. You woke up to two to three
inches of snow on the ground and it is still snowing. The morning paper was in
an orange wrapper but buried. Carol retrieved it but you haven’t read it yet.
She took Donna’s paper to her and Donna told her that Jared would be over after
the snow stops to use the snow blower. You’ll wait until he’s done before
blowing your own.
1033 hours. Here is a photo from my chair out the front living
room window. The Christmas tree is bare ready to be taken apart and boxed.

While you are adding pictures why not
add one of more relevance in the modern world. Earlier when you looked at the
photo (below) today as you placed it on your Facebook page you thought of how
it may have been in the early 1900’s to see the first ‘filling’ or ‘gas’
station pop up in their era of horses and buggies. – Amorella

1151 hours. It is true. I thought that
when I took the photo 31 December 13. It was a surprise to see when I drove to
the Apple store for the Airport Express. Who would have thought Testla would
put a station right there in the Kenwood Towne Centre parking lot, under cover
no less. I have seen four or five Teslas in the area in the last few months. Hey,
I can say I lived long enough to see a part of the future firsthand.

The snow continues. You placed Chapter
Nine in the Final Word document as well as in the Final Page document, thus
automatically in iCloud for safekeeping. Later, dude. – Amorella
1226 hours. I feel better now that the
chapter is secured. I like this pace because it has been long enough since I
wrote the earlier version that I can better edit/tweak it presently. Now I need
to ready the next three chapters for finalizing. Aggh! I forgot to do the GMG
Chapter Stats for 7, 8 and 9.
This includes the Story Mill software also,

1415 hours. Jared arrived and did most
of the driveway but I volunteered to shovel the turn around extension, about
four by twenty feet and our front walk to the porch. Even that was more
difficult than I expected because the snow was wet and heavy (4 inches) and
there was a mushy iced bottom layer of about an inch itself, even heavier. It
took three to four shovelfuls to go the four to four and a half feet straight
on, plus it stuck to the shovel. Am I getting older or what? It didn’t help my
carpel tunnel either. Next time I’ll run the machinery. We’re done for this
snow in any case. Supposedly we have another round coming on Sunday then next
week for a couple of days the high is supposed to be 8 degree (F). Snow is
pretty; especially when it sticks on the bushes, tree limbs and most anything
else hanging or standing outside.
You had a very late lunch at Panera, then a
quick stop at Kroger’s. While there you filled in the Stats and here they are.

hours. The main streets are becoming quite icy. I am glad the driveway and walk
are shoveled; it is supposed to get quite cold tonight. We needed milk, bananas
and Klondike bars (how would we ever survive without one form of ice cream or
another). Story Mill to do, but it appears to be becoming of somewhat less
value at this time.
Drop it then, boy. If we need it before
sending in for publication we’ll still have it. Post. - Amorella
Here
are the top ten monthly blog stats in terms of page views. I really don’t know
what this actually means for this work-a-day blog but it is interesting. I do
know from other sources that most page views are accidental or not what the
reader was looking for. Still, I feel I have between 10 and 20 readers who
check the blog from time to time. I’m fine with it. Thank you to those who have
some interest, even if it is helping you learn English as a second or third or
fourth language - rho
