Notes - proofreading / ch. 1.2.3 corrected /

Shortly after noon local time. You had your appointment with Dr. D. and he took a biopsy on a mole on your back and prescribed new medicine for itchy skin on your shoulder. He also checked your body for signs of other skin problems, none were found. Good Sam called and said your operation will be at noon on Monday not earlier. You are pleased to hear this because otherwise you would have to be driving to the hospital during rush hour. You have another appointment next week also with Dr. B. at ten fifteen on Thursday. You did not realize that is the day you usually have lunch with Fritz and supper with your high school class. You will be going to the supper. – Amorella

Nearly dusk. You proofread your way through most of the third chapter. Once you finish you will make the corrections on the Page copy, as it is stored in iCloud for safekeeping. You received more information on ebook. Today it was from Lulu. They charge a hundred dollars to set it up and make it ready for iBook and Barnes and Noble. You want to check into iBook services in more detail, as they would also include both publishers.

1751 hours. I am finding few errors but I am making changes in word flow and clarity. It is easy to fall into task. I do find my writing is slower than my thought so I have to make sure I can later read what the corrections say. A few sentences I just delete. I cannot see why they were included in the first place. It is entertainment not a moral lecture of should’s and ought’s which creep in from time to time.

I agree. We keep it light and to the point. One of your early favorite quotes when delivering newspaper in the mid-fifties was the motto at the top of the left corner of the Columbus Citizen and the Columbus Citizen-Journal – “Give light and the people will find their own way.” In our case, the interested reader will find her or his own way through the books.          2117 hours. I completed the proofreading of the Intro and first three chapters. Now I need to make the corrections in Page on the keyboard.

You had a pleasant though late Subway picnic lunch over by the Little Miami River. Carol read from her book and you worked on proofing, mostly Chapter Two. Later, supper was makeshift, you had cold cereal and Carol had ham and cheese. You watched “Person of Interest” and “Elementary”. Last night you watched “CSI” and “NCIS”.

I was going to begin typing tonight but suddenly I’m tired. I'll be better after a rest.

You did not ask, but I agree, keyboarding every three chapters fits the comfortable pattern. You are slowly retuned for this phase. Something will come of it. Post. - Amorella
