Notes - Thunder Story Extension /

Mid-afternoon. You are at Sharon Nursery waiting for Carol who is looking for flowers for the front of the house. You both had an excellent dinner at Longhorn’s for lunch as Carol gave blood at Hoxworth earlier. The car was spotty with dirt so you stopped at the car wash before the nursery. – You stopped by the house and now are at Pine Hill Lakes Park. Carol is walking (you did exercises earlier). You saw Gary Popplewell drive in with three of his grandkids and stopped to chat for a while. He has eight grandchildren and says when he has time you and he will head to Tommy’s for cheeseburgers for lunch; something you used to do fairly regularly when you both worked at Mason High. – Amorella

1602 hours. When we returned from Brasil I had a kinship with Lyn Van Akin who helped me through the school politics at Indian Hill High. Lyn retired, and I went to Mason High a couple years later. He and Jim Powers took a trip to Latin American. The plane crashed. Lyn died in the crash at the tip of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. Jim survived and is an old colleague whom I see as of late, at least once a year.  If it weren’t for Lyn and Gary I would have not survived well at either Indian Hill or Mason. It was always my attitude that as a teacher, the principal and superintendent were there to serve the teachers, who then served the students. I was rather a misfit at times and did not do well with/in school politics. This is the main reason I never had the desire to be chairperson of the Department of English once we returned to the States. Anyway, Lyn and Gary always seemed to understand my perspective and kept me in check, and I am ever thankful for their caring friendship. Here comes Carol across the earth dam.

Let’s let the ‘moral fiber’ ride for now boy, and get back to the symbiotic relationship between the heart and the soul pre-birth and thus, pre- (independent) mind as far as the marsupial humanoids are concerned. Think of the heart as a separate identity from the soul because it has a more immediate and direct sense of dealing with space and time. The soul meanwhile shows a motherly concern this tiny identity and takes it within to protect the heart from the elements. Thus, the heart is first to observe (so to speak) ‘through or passed) the non-crystal-like structure of the soul into the real world of physics. This is a rough translation of how the marsupial humanoids understand the process. They take the story for what it is an analogy that gives them comfort when they are children. Since nobody knows for sure, it works as a general story and will continue to do so until something clearer comes along. This means, in context, that the mind is independent upon consciousness of ‘self’ of the heartansoul. Within the story the brain sets up consciousness for the body’s survival in the real world but the mind becomes a conscious extension of the body in the same way the soul takes the heart as an extension and protects it within. The heart then does the same, it takes the mind, which is out there in raw physics and brings it also within itself to protect it from the elements. This works much the same way as the ‘Sister connect’ within the Thunder story. – Amorella

1710 hours. What connections. I am almost speechless. I would have never thought of an extension to the original story but it seems reasonable at least at the moment. Maybe this Thunder story and extension would be a good way to complete this first book. Have Friendly tell the story and then leave Pyl, Justin and Blake in their first thoughts without expressing them until book two.

This was not the plan but your thought has merit and will be considered. Homo sapiens do like to think and consider. You always wanted your students to think and consider. This appears an authentic request in that your name is the legal author. Post. - Amorella

1724 hours. I would have never thought of this extension into soul and heart and mind in relationship to the Thunder in a million years. Where in the world does this come from?
