Mid-morning. You are at Pine Hills under a
shade tree waiting for Carol on her walk. Good rains last night so the green is
growing. You already have the tools for cleaning the bathroom floors upstairs
and ready to go when you return after an errand or two plus a trip to the
grocery before heading home. Let’s work on the present chapter of book one. –
Amorella
Mid-afternoon.
The bathroom and kitchen floors have been mopped and cleaned. Earlier you
brought home Piada Street Italian for lunch and responded to a couple of proxy
notes from TIAA-CREF. – Amorella
1556 hours. I took an hour nap this morning and felt somewhat
better. The heat and humidity do wonders for aggravating my arthritis,
particularly in the morning. I have been working on a final cleaning of today’s
chapter. It will be completed by supper. Right now I’m taking a break. Half the
work of cleaning the kitchen floor is moving everything out and sweep cleaning
before the actual wet pad mopping. Then waiting for it to dry before putting
everything back. Lots of shredded cat hair in the corners and under stuff this
time round. Anyway, it’s done for now. I even changed the furnace filter. Now
watch, no one will come down this next week. It’s ready for them if they do
though, that’s the important part. Plus, it is good to clean house once in a
while, particularly with our cats. It is supposed to rain again tonight and
perhaps tomorrow morning. The lawn is already growing. Tim’s going to mow for
us this next week so we can focus on company. (1609)
