Notes - most cool / imaginary friend / meds / consideration / flushing

Mid-morning. You have been doing household chores; mostly cleaning the three litter boxes and sweeping upstairs and kitchen. Breakfast eaten and the paper read. You just had a call to pick up a prescription from Kroger’s use were supposed to pick up last night. You are ready for a nap and then exercises. Carol is playing a number game in the paper. – Amorella

0956 hours. Haikou is the only word that comes to mind but that is a poetic form. Carol's game is in the form of a large square and eight by eight small squares within it. Maybe it is ten by ten smaller squares within. It comes with some numbers and you have to figure out the rest of the numbers from what’s there. Carol loves this game. I love a well-written Haikou. Here is one most cool by Basho Matsuo.

                                    Lightning flash –
                                         what I thought were faces
                                         are plumes of pampas grass.

         Post. - Amorella

You have your forty-five minutes of exercise in. – Amorella

1110 hours. I am pleased with this. It was a pretty good session in that the music was pretty much in the beat of my movements. Eighties music, of course, I almost always have eighty’s music from Got Music in the foreground. Thinking about the Haikou – what if it was the other way around? What I thought were plumes of pampas grass are faces. What sort of pickle would that fellow be in besides not having a Haikou format?

You are so very dark humored, boy. The humor reminds you of Moby Dick, does it not? – Amorella

1117 hours. It reminds me of Herman Melville stranded on an island with cannibals. The heathens did the Christian thing and let him survive to be picked up later. Queequeg becomes the model of a decent chap even though he was not Christian. A lot of the Christians at the time were not too fond of Melville if I remember right. Too bad. He had a point to make (his opinion) and he made it. I think something of the Golden Rule should be brought up in Pouch 7 too, at least a reference to it, that and how guests should be treated Mr. Kembel, don’t you think?

By Jove, I think he’s got it, boy. – Amorella

1125 hours. A dark humored curtain call, Amorella. I’m done for now.

Ye post now boy while I search for the Great White. – Amorella

1127 hours. Awesome. Amorella that was just like my imaginary friend used to say when I was four and five. She would pop right in and take up a point of view other than my own. I haven’t felt that for an age. The circumstance/immediate experience was just like that. I would say something, a lead in to an imaginary adventure and she would pop right back ready to come along with me. A quick touch of childhood this was. A most pleasant surprise.

You had a late mid-afternoon lunch at Panera/Chipotle then stopped at Kroger’s for needles for your voluntary experiment with a small shot of insulin before bed to see if you lose weight. You also have gone to a more powerful metformin and for the next three months will not take your Janumet XR. – Amorella

1643 hours. I’ll never know unless I try it but I had no idea the new med is so expensive. I should have caught the clue when Dr. B. told her assistant to be sure my insurance would cover it first. They did but I still had to pay ninety dollars on a three months supply of Victoza (liraglutide (rDNA origin) injection. The injection is with a pen-like device.

You have the first four hundred and three words of Pouch Seven. Time for a break. Post. – Amorella

1757 hours. I am rather surprised. I did not expect the complete collaboration between Ship and Onesixanzero. It appears the Earthlings and marsupial humanoids are merely pawns; that machinery is doing the experimenting with both species. This is something I do not like to consider.

You love to experiment yourself. Don’t you think human-like machines would wish to do the same? They are taking ever precaution, boy. – Amorella

1806 hours. This is dark humor indeed.

A reminder, this is not nearly so bad as it was in Braided Dreams when marsupial humanoids found only five living human beings after a great plague. This is a different universe with most of the same people. You call it a new trilogy, but what is the difference between a universe and a book from our point of view? Post. – Amorella

1811 hours. I’ll take this in consideration.

2209 hours. I just gave myself my first injection in on the right stomach area. Now I’ll wait to see if I have any reactions. It was easy enough, sharp needle, no pain. There is a pain pricking the finger but not too much. I am not sure the physics of how the pen works but it is not exactly like using a needle. We watched two shows “This Old House” and “NCIS NO”. I don’t remember watching another but we might have.

You are thinking on working on Pouch Seven, but it can wait until tomorrow. All for tonight, dude. Post when appropriate. – Amorella

2218 hours. I can feel slight warmth at the needle site about the diameter of a quarter. Warmth may not be the right word, a slight flushing; the site is slightly red, about the diameter of a nickel. I sleep with a pencil and paper at hand. Time to check my email then off to bed.
