Mid-afternoon. You had a late lunch at Smashburgers; and a good
appointment with Dr. B. this morning. You told her that you would like to get
your A1C back below seven, so you are going to experiment with a few drugs to
help that in the next six months. – Amorella
1432 hours. I thought the A1C was worse than it is – it interrupted
my comfort level, so we’ll see what happens when I switch drugs. Dr. B. is a
very pleasant and upfront person. I’ll see her again in January. I see Dr. M.
in December; I’m not sure about Dr. G. I am waiting for Carol who is in the
bank exchanging our Canadian bills back to U.S. I want to get started on Pouch
7 too. I am curious how this is going to go.
Carol is gathering coupons for a Kroger’s
run. You have to take pictures of the spots on the interior leather of the
Avalon for claim purposes and as fuel is down to $2.979a gallon you
topped off the Honda and are topping off the Toyota on the return from the
grocery. - Amorella
Yesterday you said, “I assume Ship is
going to dock in a remote undisclosed space station before ever shuttling
anyone to Planet One.“ I explained on how to proceed, then Word crashed and
when you brought up the document the material was lost. I said we have work to do here and we never got together afterwards. You
are ready for a nap. Later. – Amorella
No
nap. You are at Kroger’s on Tylersville. You took the pictures for the claim.
The grocery is busier than usual; lots of people. – Amorella
1608 hours. I wrote about everyone dying but five adults in Braided
Dreams. The concept struck a cord way back. No one left, extinction of the
species, and I reinforced it every year I taught British literature because of
the 1665-66 Great Plague of London. Today we have the Ebola hemorrhagic fever.
I doubt it is the plague of our times
but containing it, if it ever comes, will be the same way we are methodically
attempting to contain it today.
This is the same fear Mr. Kembel has in this
present Pouch segment. Remember, in the story one hundred survived when Planet
One had a plague twenty some thousand years earlier. The few got transport to
Planet Two where very few lived, it was in early colonization, and there was
talk on eventually colonization Planet Three. Space exploration was a little
beyond the twenty-first century today, possibly the twenty-second century. This
in itself is another reason the marsupial humanoids are interested in Homo
sapiens. Such an irony it would be from Mr. Kembel’s perspective – to bring the
Earthlings to ThreePlanets and also a new plague that could wipe out a planet
in a few weeks. – Amorella
1627 hours. This appears to be a good focus point to begin – Kembel
in fear while waiting on Drenakite. How do we pronounce Drenakite?
You
cannot pronounce it correctly. Use Dren-Ah-Kite. Dren as wren. – Amorella
2059 hours. You are funny, Amorella. (w)Ren(t) a kite. We watched
too many shows. They were all good but three are enough for one night.
You had an excellent supper – ground sirloin
and hot sausage in Grandma Schick’s old-fashioned meatloaf.
Yes. Grandma never used ground sirloin though and we didn’t either
until now. We have used ground chuck for as long as I can remember because it
has less fat. Evidently ground sirloin has even less, so Carol is giving it a
try –almost nine dollars for a pound and a half at Kroger’s. I about fell over
when the lady handed me the package. It seems to me that when we got married in
1967 we could buy almost a week’ worth of groceries with that kind of money.
You are telling your age in more way than
one boy. – Amorella
2107 hours. What is the plan for the second half of Pouch 7?
A secret conversation with Mr. Kembel and
his daughter Friendly to give their perspective will do fine.
2110 hours. What about the Earthlings?
Their focus is on seeing Planet One from
about two hundred miles up. – This is a contrast to seeing the dark side of the
Moon, I assure you. – Amorella
2112 hours. The fun is going to be watching this resolve into less
than 800 words.
You
think on it tonight. We’ll work on it in the morning. Post. – Amorella
2114 hours. Thank you, Amorella. I could have spent a month trying
to think how this was going to come about. – rho
You are exaggerating, but I work like the
marsupial humanoids here – practical mental efficiency with surrounded ethics.
- Amorella
