Evening. You had a relatively busy day
working around the house. You did get your forty minutes of exercises in and
had a late lunch at Panera/Chipotle, then you spent at least an hour updating
your Emergency ID Card and Meds but once you got it updated and printed it
properly and set it up on an outdated casino card and decently taped in with
clear tape you found an error, and once you went back over the updating on the
card you found other errors so you corrected them all but tomorrow you have to
print it and attach it to another outdated card to put in your carrying
collection of a variety of cards and folded money on the outside held together
with a rubber band or two – your privately styled wallet since 1970; about a
quarter inch thick without some folded ones on one side and a few folded fives
and tens on the other. You both had leftovers about eight and watched the news
and last night’s new “Blue Bloods”. Last night you did read more of A Short
History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. – Amorella

hours. Chapter 17 was about the upper troposphere and Chapter 18 was about the
critters and pressures of the oceans. I am still enjoying the book because it
is full of facts – some I have read before but others I have not, so with the
combination I have a better insight than by not reading; but there is no way I
can remember all this, nor should it. A better understanding of science is all
I’m looking for. The book is still entertaining with minor ironies scattered
about like so many molecules or seashells. So, if I read tonight I begin on
page 287. I’m really glad Kim gave this to me for a present.
Changes for the week – you are going up to
Kim and Paul’s Thursday morning and you will be staying until Saturday
afternoon to help Kim with the boys at their swimming lessons at the Delaware
YMCA. Paul has a required meeting at the hospital most of Saturday morning. And,
you did call to tell him you signed back on Ancestry for six months of
resources looking at the world of Ancestry facts not just the U.S. – Amorella

hours. They had thirty percent off for six months so I took it knowing our DNA
will be back within a month or two. Plus, I thought it would help locate some
of Paul’s many relatives in Korea but so far I don’t think it will unless he
can get me some names and towns and dates. It will give me a chance to check
more about my European ancestors though. I’ll have enough time to pick up what
details I can. And, what we are hoping is that with Paul’s family that some of
the many aunts and uncles on both his mother and father’s sides of the family
that someone already has a genealogy worked up. If not then it is time we get
to it while these people are still alive and hopefully willing to share what
they know about their ancestors.

Your
thoughts are still hanging on ‘souls as the children of Angels’ are they not? –

hours. I guess I am curious about my own soul since you appear to have some
acquaintance with it. This has nothing to do with the Merlyn books but one time
. . ..
You hesitate because, as you have written
elsewhere in the blog, that you felt that once during the 1980’s (when you
thought you witnessed a small spirit in the hall of your old house, and Carol
and Kim were in the first level watching television and you felt as if your
soul ‘flew’ up and out and another took its place) that you have wondered if
this was possible at least from your perspective. – Amorella

hours. It all seems rather silly now though it did not at the time. Frankly, I
don’t think I really want to know because I have such an imagination to begin
with. I don’t even know why it popped in my head with the “but one time . . .“
Then I just wanted to let it go but you began the next paragraph – I would just
as soon that had not.
I keep you honest boy, so that you may
eventually get your wish and die an honest man, at least honest to yourself.
This is a private goal of yours and had been for over six decades. It is online
to keep you honest, but it makes no difference whether anybody else believes
you or not because you have always been a storyteller. Some tales are a little
taller than others but that is a human fault and not much can be done about it,
or should from my perspective. – Amorella
