You had a quick lunch at Penn Station where
you split a large chicken teriyaki and medium fries. On the way to Kroger’s on
Mason-Montgomery Road you were passed by a very nice looking Tesla S. You both
got fired up and ended the conversation on how you both presently think the
hybrid is more practical. This morning was mostly relaxation though you did hit
Yost’s Pharmacy uptown for Carol and made sure the bird feeders were full with
the coming snow and cold later today. – Amorella

hours. It was pleasant not having an agenda this morning. Kroger’s is packed.
We are only supposed to get an inch of snow but while it is snowing we will
have blizzard-like conditions with whiteouts, at least that’s what the weather
services say. Lots of flurry – someone leaves a parking space and someone else
is ready to take their place. Lot of associated grocery trash bags flying
around and well as light green sheets of paper used to wrap flowers. People are
still picking up valentine gifts – seems a little late to me. We both opened
our cards this morning. Both were poking fun at our own characters – helps
strengthen the bond oddly enough. My card glorified my sexual powers and hers
spoke of her long list of complaints. Very funny. She does have a long list,
and my sexual nature is not at its youthful height; as Seinfeld might say out
of context, “not that there is anything wrong with it.”
Middish afternoon. After returning from the
grocery you returned to the Hallmark store as Carol had forgotten to look for a
card for Uncle John. She did not find what she wanted but to make the errand
worthwhile you stopped at Graeter’s for a weekend treat. Carol mentioned that
Outback might be on the table for dinner tomorrow – not that there is anything
wrong with that either. You did hit a wall of gray snow and biting wind, which
slowed the cars down, but no whiteout. – Amorella

hours. The wind chill is supposed to be subzero tonight. I feel like taking a
short nap.
Instead of a nap, out of the blue you
targeted Facebook with this dark humored ditty: “Roses are red; violets are
blue; Were youthful love so simple; As popping a pimple.” – Amorella

hours. The ditty popped from mind to fingertips and I posted it for no good reason.
1544 hours. I thought about this and a few moments ago I wrote this under the Facebook caption:

Richard H. Orndorff - Immediately before the ditty popped into mind I was thinking
on my favorite work, Milton's Paradise Lost and on Milton's Satan within Book
I. So, from that take the words above as you will if you want to witness the
dark humor afloat. No offense, I did not think on the day this represents. Love
is as we are and can be witnessed in the twinkle in an eye between friends. -

This says so much more about the
real you than the ditty and the explanation, as true as they are, than much
else you have written. Post. – Amorella
