Notes - weekend /

Mid-afternoon. You drove home after breakfast and had a late lunch at Panera/Chipotle. Presently you are waiting for Carol at Kroger’s on Tylersville. Once dropping Carol off at home you are getting the Avalon washed and put away until the weekend. Tomorrow morning Carol has a two and half hour appointment with a specialist to test for any allergies – something she has never had done before.

Everyone appeared to have a good time Saturday and Sunday. You stopped to see Aunt Patsy and spent an hour and half chatting – her personality and mind are as sharp as ever. Kim wanted to go to Max & Erma’s in Westerville for supper, afterwards was playtime with the boys before bath and bed. Quality time with Kim afterwards. Sunday the weather was snowy with at least four to five inches of new on top of about eight inches of the old. You drove to Potbelly’s at Polaris for lunch then nap time once home. Kim made spaghetti for supper; then more playtime with the boys. This morning Kim and Carol dropped Owen off at school and Brennan had a surprise treat of a McD breakfast before stopping at Dr. Andy’s for a well-time visit. You and Carol left Kim and Brennan after McD’s and headed home. So, you had a busy and fun weekend. Kim is picking up Paul from the airport right about now. – Amorella

1537 hours. It was fun. The boys were very good when we were out in public. Brennan is showing some more maturity after turning three. His tolerance level is higher than it has been. Kim has a good schedule of about an hour a day on the computer (iPads) and an hour for television shows. The rest of the time they work on individual activities of their own interest. I told Owen to give me words and I would spell them. This was fun for about a half hour. Then he said, “Let’s stop, Papa. We can play again the next time you come up.” Somehow the boys think the word ‘duty’ has a negative connotation. Kim doesn’t like the way they use it as it is suggestive but I don’t know of what. So, Owen gives a salute to his brother and says “Call to duty, sir!” It is funny when demonstrated. I don’t remember ‘duty’ as a naughty word. Anyway, both boys can be cute; they certainly are active and play better together than they used to. Plus, what I like to hear best is that their sentences are mostly grammatically correct. Kim was most always correct at their respective ages also. I have always admired her for that. Owen is very much like her in the way he goes at grammar. Brennan does also. They both have their own natural cadence when speaking. Kim corrects their errors automatically, and they learn from it willingly. That’s the most important part, willingly. (1658)

You are home from getting the car washed. Post. - Amorella

You and Carol enjoyed the season’s concluding two hour Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey; then NBC News and had scrambled eggs for a late supper. – Amorella

2226 hours. Tomorrow we are off to the specialist’s office for Carol’s allergy testing. I plan to work on Dead 8 to the point where the chapter will be completed and I can move on to chapter nine.
