Notes - the irony sings / unthought out

Mid-afternoon, did your walking laps, Carol ten and you six. Lunch was at Piata Street Italian, a stop at Kroger’s pharmacy for pen needles and now you are at the north lot of Pine Hill Lakes Park facing west.  Earlier you met with Dr. B. and she increased your Victoza dosage from twelve to eighteen ml so that you might lose more weight. You only lost five pounds from last visit. She is happy with your health and your exercising and very happy that Victoza appears to be working well. Carol is on page 104 of The Target by David Balducci.

1436 hours. I did wear my black driver’s cap at the community center today but I did leave my CIA insignia cap on the back seat of the car in case I don’t have a cap if we are out driving or stopping at a carry out. It is probably time to buy a new beret online so I have one for special more formal occasions in the Fall. It is another cool windy but pleasant enough Spring day. Most of the smaller foliage is out and so are the redbuds still.

You are home after a last minute treat on two kids’ cups from Graeter’s. Carol is working on her flower gardens. Post. – Amorella

Gas Buddy had an alert on higher gas and the only one left close was Kroger on Mason-Montgomery. You closed the MacAir and rushed to the Honda got gas at 1.979 with discount then rushed home, picked up the Toyota and got gas at 2.079with discount. The regular gas without discount was 2.279and the new price is 2.599. Feel better, orndorff? – Amorella

1729 hours. I was telling Carol we saved over five dollars with both fill ups. Besides, saving fuel on cars an old habit I can’t imagine us breaking. I don’t think this ever comes up in the book; the Dead breaking the old habits from living. Merlyn’s old pet owl and fox stop by his sanctuary. People who had horses or any animals they had great emotional attachment to could be visited, so to speak, in their individual sanctuaries. But in today’s world people who have strong emotional attachments to their cars or homes or tools wouldn’t be able to ‘see’ them again, certainly not ride in them or build things or cook dinner. In the books they can met and converse with friends, family and even make new friends along the way. What if two old friends used to build tools or hunting equipment?

Merlyn has his stream. He can fish. Aspects of the natural world would work. Let’s keep it simple that way. In the books food is remembered and eaten or drunk in a memory as if present because everything is present, so to speak. Merlyn could fabricate a model from ‘wood’ or ‘stone’, etc. of something remembered. He has some of his favorite memories within the sanctuary. Others can do this too and invite friends old and new to visit in the ‘present’. – Amorella

1752 hours. This makes sense. After all, the individual’s heartansoulanmind creates the sanctuary in the first place.

It is more intimate because friends would visit their friend’s ‘reality’ of themselves. This is why ‘honesty’ and knowing who one is, is so important. The Dead cannot share until each knows who she or he is in the ‘present’. No closets to hide in, don’t you see. – Amorella

1756 hours. So, in here, the confrontation with the Angel is a necessity for surviving well in HeavenOrHellBothOrNeither?

         Yes. – Amorella

1757 hours. I like this. I hadn’t realized another purpose. This is so reasonable, Amorella

Only because deep, deep down you are so reasonable, orndorff. This comes from me, the Amorella, but only because you can accept this. – Amorella

1800 hours. So, in the books, for any of the Dead, things can ultimately get better.

Things could be better if people decided to sacrifice a good part of themselves to make this happen. – Amorella

1802 hours. Now, this is an eye-opener. It gives credence to people making the ultimate sacrifice in life, or even as Jesus, the man being sacrificed on the cross. “I am the way.”

It will work in the books. – Amorella

1805 hours. I like there is hope. It means my old watchword, ‘Cheer up, things are bound to get worse,’ can be turned around (at least in these books).

Odd isn’t it, that a crusty and cynical old soul such as yourself could even conjure to make such a point from his heartansoulanmind. – Amorella

1808 hours. The irony sings. I am surprised at the simplicity of the concept.

         Good. Post. - Amorella

2218 hours. How can a soul be old if it is immortal?

By the same token how can the soul be crusty and cynical if it has no heartanmind? – Amorella

2220 hours. I don’t know. I don’t see ‘crusty and cynical old soul’ as a literal statement.

         Post. - Amorella
