Notes - early up / car

0314 hours. I can’t sleep. Woke up about one, listened to Pandora ‘1960’s Folk Music’ for an hour or so. Now I am sitting in the living room in my favorite chair. The boys were busy as usual. We ate at Local Roots in the heart of Powell. Everyone enjoyed the company as well as the food. The deer were out last night, most of the herd of about thirty or so to the southeast and a few outside to the south out the back windows. This is the first time we have been at the house in June. Everything looks fine outside and in. The boys had swimming lessons after day school and Paul was longer getting home from the hospital; they evidently had a busier day than usual. I have been thinking about the Honda. We stopped and had it washed at Mike’s on Wednesday and some pressurized moisture was creeping in through the top of the back windows which shows me the car is getting older even without the mileage; it only has 71,000 or so on it. Maybe it is time to trade the car in and buy a new one to put some mileage on. This is something to actively think about within the next twelve months.

You have some thoughts rolling in your head on a variety of topics. Time to spin through the web for interests then try going back to bed. Carol was out a few minutes ago, checking on why you are up. Just one of those nights, boy. Post. - Amorella

You, Carol and Kim met with Andy F. at Ameriprise this morning and had a good meeting with Carol and Kim understanding more of Andy’s comments and suggestions. Lunch happened at Potbelly’s at Polaris and presently Carol and Kim are shopping while you are waiting at Wendy’s nearby. You got caught talking to Andy about a new car before Carol and Kim came into his office because Andy spoke to Carol about it as they entered. As soon as Andy said something he realized I hadn’t been talking to Carol about a new car, but he went on to say that it is already built in the budget from your last meeting. – Amorella

1406 hours. I am beginning to have mixed thoughts now that it might happen. I have to do some earnest Internet research. It is still open to a Camry, Fusion or Honda hybrid. I wish Joseph Toyota also had a Ford dealership. We had Ford and Mercury mid-size sedans in the eighties and nineties. Carol drove them okay but she doesn’t seem to like how the Camry drives and the Honda is too noisy transmission-wise. That leaves the Ford Fusion Hybrid as the most practical choice to check out for model and online price. Wendy’s does not allow this web interaction so I’ll have to wait until later. That’s okay. I need to think on this more seriously first. I will need to talk to an Internet Ford salesperson for price first.

Relax, orndorff. You have plenty of time to look before you make a presentation to Carol. – Amorella

1427 hours. We certainly didn’t have any problem with the Avalon we both liked the looks and test drive immediately.

Maybe this car search will work out also. Post. - Amorella
