         Mid-morning. You both read the paper and had usual breakfasts. Carol has an old cradle to give to Kim if she wants it. The lunch with Dave and Marsha was cancelled yesterday because Dave has not been feeling well. This is more upsetting to you than you think and you are denying the possible implications. – Amorella

         0909 hours. I do not like to think on my cousin and old friend as a fading light. I hope he gets better. We are scheduled to see them again within a week or so. Otherwise it won’t be until Carol has recovered though she suggested that I go see David myself if we don’t meet next week. He has had a long struggle with Parkinson’s. I hope his latest bout is just a temporary setback.

        0918 hours. We are going to Kim and Paul's this afternoon and staying over because we have a scheduled meeting with our financial guide Andy earlier tomorrow morning. I suppose we'll stay for lunch before returning home. Perhaps Kim and Carol will go shopping, who knows. It should be a good day for travel and it will be good to see Paul and the boys. A couple of weeks ago Paul took Owen to the hospital to see what his dad does. It should continue to help open the boy's eyes to the greater wonders of modern science, at least that is my hope.
