Notes - a cane for Carol / D. Abbey / correction

Afternoon. Carol is graduating to a cane today. Last night Carol asked Linda if she wanted to watch Downton Abbey and she agreed so you watched the first episode of the first year. It was fun for you and Carol to begin the series again and during lunch today you completed the first season and have begun the first episode of the second season. Linda is quite taken by the series. Carol has told her she would be for years. Fully retired Linda can complete the catch-up this summer. – Amorella

1637 hours. The physical therapist is finishing up with Carol and then we are off on a ride to Black Barn for more picked-today corn on the cob.

You each had fresh corn on the cob and two slices of tomato for supper. Linda wanted to continue the marathon on Downton Abbey and now you are ready for last episodes, seven and eight of the second season. – Amorella

2237 hours. We are having fun, Carol and myself, watching the shows with Linda who is really getting into series. It is a joy to see Linda show some passion and interest in the characters, setting and plot. We too are re-struck as to how well together this is put together though tonight I caught an error – Lady Mary, I think, was mentioning their German nanny when they were young but she or someone else referred to the woman as a Nazi governess – there were no Nazi’s in the First World War. This error** is on episode 6 where the burnt Canadian says he is the man who supposedly died on the Titanic.

** This is in fact an error on my part.
