You
awoke in the night and are sitting in the bedroom chair thinking about going
back to sleep only because you see no purpose in staying up. – Amorella
0228
hours. This is sometimes a good time for thoughts to show up out of the blue
but none have been forthcoming. It is quiet but for the soft whir of the
ceiling fan. I love the silence.
Shortly after noon local time. You were up
earlier and cleaned the kitchen and had breakfast about the same time Carol and
Linda did then took a longer than usual nap, did thirty minutes of exercises
and are feeling better – assuming the aching conditions are arthritic in
nature. – Amorella

hours. The diffused pain is mostly in my ankles, knees and hips – ‘in my legs’ would
be an easier way to say it. I have some errands and chores to do today. I
needed that nap to be sure. Time to go down and see what’s happening on the
first floor.
Carol is coming along each day, at least
this is what you observe and Linda verifies. She is now sitting down and
standing up much better. Carol was asking about supper, so it will soon be time
to decide what take out you are to go to. Later, dude.
1802
hours. Wow. I just watched a knee replacement operation (cut to about twelve minutes) on
an Internet medical video. Very cool. Carol watched most of it before
moving on with her walker.
You had ham and cheese sandwiches with
Kroger bakery baked wheat bread again for supper with Carol getting out some frozen
peas and warming them up; her first venture back with kitchen duties, and she
appeared to enjoy the experience.
1942
hours. Excitement at supper. Alta and Craig called and Carol had a good chat. Carol
has done more exercises and is getting tired so enough for today. I have the
trash to the streets and that’s it for tonight, that along with unloading the
dishwasher and cleaning the cat litter box.
2330 hours. An hour ago Carol surprised me tonight when she came out of the bathroom carrying her walker in front of her she walked into the kitchen (about ten feet) before putting it down. She said she is tired of using the walker. Blew me away! Linda was not surprised at all. I am very proud of my marriage partner Carol. Awesome. It was awesome to witness. I was totally surprised.
