Dawn. The boys are up and Owen is dressed
for Kindergarten. Owen’s lunch box has special plastic containers and freezer
packs of matching colors for his variety of food and drink. No peanut butter at
school. What a different time. Owen has a Native American friend, Azul, from his
Primrose School who takes the same Olentangy Schools yellow bus at the bus
stop. - Amorella

hours. I had a nap, but before we all gathered around the bus stop with Owen
and found we were in quite a crowd. Five or six other parents of children also
were there to send off their kids to the first day. Brennan even gave Owen a
hug just before he climbed aboard Olentangy School Bu 127 with the others.
Kindergartners have assigned seats in front. Earlier Owen came up and said to
me, “Papa, I’m not afraid.” Then he showed me a great Taekwondo kick as well as
an accompanied punch that he had learned from Paul. He concluded, “No one will
mess with me.” I thought that was pretty good. I got kicked out of Kindergarten
fighting with Bobby Meeks. We both were kicked out for two days or a week; I
can’t remember which. I think it started with a snowball fight on the
playground at old Emerson Elementary School. Originally it was Vine Street
School.
Evening. You were stuck in traffic on SR 315
near OSU campus because of a shut down on a ramp to I-670. Otherwise, the trip
was uneventful which is the way you both like it. Tonight you had leftovers,
watched NBC News, then you both watched “Rizzoli and Isles”. Afterwards, you
watched “Extant” and now Carol is watching one of her shows. – Amorella’

hours. We wonder how Owen’s first day was. Kim posted pictures on Facebook and
shared them with me. Owen was all smiles. I hope he loves learning as much as I
have in my lifetime.
You want to add more but do not have the
words for expressing your private thoughts. It is just as well, boy. Let him
and Brennan find their own way to adulthood of serving themselves and humankind
and the planet in a positive humane way. Post. – Amorella
