Notes - the perfect tense / playing cards

Within the hour you will be off to Columbus, the sisters are having lunch at Olive Garden at Polaris Shopping and you and Kim may go along. – Amorella

0906 hours. I hope we can get started on Dead 10 today.

You have already begun, boy. Post. - Amorella

Dusk. You had another busy day doing family things. You did have lunch with Kim at Max and Erma’s while Carol, Linda and Gayle had lunch at Olive Garden. Later, you, Carol and Linda drove along the Olentangy, stopped to look at showers and bathroom sink and tubs at Menard’s then over to Graeter’s in Powell for a late afternoon treat before pizza for supper. – Amorella

2038 hours. I introduced Owen to playing cards this afternoon. He put them in numerical order by suits then I made up a simple modified game of ‘War’. He won both sets and learned his suits and face cards and their worth. It was fun. He enjoyed it and I remember how much I liked playing cards and playing with a couple of decks of cards at his age and older.

I thought I might work on Dead 10 but now I’m tired and mostly worn out – we did watch Owen and Brennan for a couple hours tonight before Paul arrived home and after Kim left for an outing with other mothers on her block.

Almost dark. The boys had the baths and are readying for bed. Owen is getting excited about his first official (full) day in Kindergarten tomorrow. He gets to officially ride a real school bus to and from school for the first time. Post. – Amorella
