Late morning. You have a darken wet and
rainy day for the start and have run an errand for cat litter to rejuvenate the
box before your trip to Kim and Paul’s after Carol’s retirement group luncheon
at Slats in Blue Ash. She is going in with Ann and you are picking her up at
two-fifteen to go directly from there, thus, clothes are being packed
presently. – Amorella

hours. We are coming home Saturday afternoon but the cats should be fine for
two nights. I am enjoying the small Chevy rental. I like that it has On-Star
road helps (audio road directions, etc.) as well as emergency service and I
have fixed the radio so it sounds much better. The front seat is fine for Carol
– much better for her than I thought it would be. She says, ‘it’s no Accord or
Avalon but it works fine for the time being.’ Tomorrow we hope to take Uncle
John to lunch at La Scala or Wind Chimes, both nearby the Methodist Retirement
Center on River Road where he lives. Late Saturday morning, Aunt Ruthie’s
daughter, my cousin Marilyn and two of her grandchildren from California will
be at Ruthie and Tony’s house for a family gathering. Saturday night Marilyn
has her fiftieth Whetstone High School Reunion (Clintonville area). Cathy and
Tod, must have her reunion this year too. While Aunt Ruthie worked at the
Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company she stayed at Grandma Schick’s in
Clintonville. Grandma Schick helped raise Marilyn. And, we are happy to see her
every two or three years on her visits. Marilyn is a Spanish/English teacher in
Los Angeles public schools as is one of her daughters. She spent her younger
years as a stewardess on United Airlines – traveled the world and all that. She
was even an extra on one of the many “Friends” episodes, sitting with her
daughters in the restaurant.
You are self-conscious of ‘talking too much’
but then this is rarely in voice with people – you feel more comfortable
standing around or sitting observing the crowd and listening to individuals as
the reacquaint or chat. – Amorella

hours. Amorella, I don’t know what I would do if I did not have writing as an
outlet for my mind. I don’t really have much to say to people and I am not
really that interesting of a person if talking out of the fields of science or
literature. I love writing. It is a quiet personal activity that is intended to
do no one any harm and basically presents a personal perspective to my
observations about living a personal life on this planet.
