Notes - boys and their toys /

The trip was uneventful and you arrive home before noon. Carol is talking to Marsha, setting up a date for lunch with her and David in October hopefully around the ninth since you are babysitting Owen and Brennan on the tenth and eleventh while Kim and Paul are attending a wedding in Buffalo. It’s about a five hour drive from Columbus. – Amorella

1222 hours. This morning Owen was putting some toys away and he said, “Papa, did you know life is unfair? We have lots of toys and we are giving some away for kids who do not have many to play with.” He was very matter of fact and wanted to make sure I knew about life just like he did. The little guy is growing up. He has a good sense of empathy already and I am quite pleased to see it. Brennan also added that he too was giving up some toys. This was very pleasant to observe. Made my day actually. The night before I watched them (Kim too) sort some boxes/baskets in their playroom for either throwing away or giving away. They were busily and happily helping Kim with the work.

You’ll probably be having lunch shortly. Post. - Amorella
