Shortly after noon. You are at Pine
Hill Lakes Park – Owen and Brennan are in the kids’ area after feeding the
ducks and geese. Carol and Kim made breakfast – sausage links and pancakes and
a fruit cup. You are going to Outback for lunch then they are leaving from
there. – Amorella
You
had lunch at Outback, Paul’s treat. You and Carol tried the tacos (steak and
chicken) and decided lunch is much better at Longhorn. They are on their way
home and you are both happy they stayed as long as they did. You both noted how
Owen and Brennan are actually having conversations (reasonable dialogues) and getting along much better as
brothers. This you are quite pleased to see. Paul and Kim said the best
surprise of the trip was how well both boys behaved and adapted to the
environment at hand. – Amorella
1425 hours. It is surprising to see
how much better they get along. I mean, they are boys who are brothers but they
are not squabbling as much as they were and seem, most of the time, to enjoy
each other’s company. Brennan in particular is much, much better than he was
even three months ago. It appears the long stretched ‘terrible two’s’ are
finally over.
