0855 hours. I don’t believe I’ve ever thought of the heartansoulanmind as a separate entity, that is, beyond the Homo sapiens or Marsupial humanoid component. However, if an AI humanoid composed or super-composed a heartansoulanmind, one that could survive beyond the physical, what would make the difference?
Why does it have to be humanoid? – Amorella
0903 hours. I can better relate
to a humanoid figure like Ava in Ex Machina because she has intellect
plus sexual composition.
What about personality? – Amorella
0924 hours. Good point. A
heartansoulanmind display would have to show an individual personality. Plus,
the two plausible AI in the Merlyn books are male oriented so I will have to
treat them as male friends – this is plausible, I have strong bonds with a
fellow male or two. These two AI can do the same – strong male bonding rather
than ‘bromance’.

male bonding
In
ethology and social science, male
bonding is the formation of close personal relationships, and patterns
of friendship or cooperation between males.
In the
context of human relationships, male bonding is used to describe friendship
between men, or the way in which men befriend each other. The expression is
sometimes used synonymously with the word camaraderie. The first widely noticed
use of the term was in Men in Groups (1969; 2004) by anthropologist
Lionel Tiger.
Anthropologists at Germany's University of Gottingen found
out, by studies on the Barbary macaques (an ape which exhibits humanlike social
behaviour) that spending more time with other males relieved their stress
levels and reduced stress-related illnesses, and may do so in humans as well.

This appears complicated to pull off but it is interesting also, perhaps to
construct a strong male bonding between AI’s as between Plato and Aristotle.
You feel you are being overly serious in
tone but this is you, orndorff, using a more orderly manner and construction.
This is also who you are. – Amorella
0958 hours. I am somewhat
embarrassed to show myself this way.
After noon. You are sitting at
the bank waiting for Carol and then eating at Potbelly’s on Mason-Montgomery
Road with a stop at Kroger’s on the way home. The weather is cold but sunny and
pretty with the light snow covering. – Amorella
With
the stop at Kroger’s let’s lead up to the place we can drop in info about the
two AI-computers. – Amorella
1511 hours. Home. Interesting, I
have underlined info from book one on the plane being hit –two important comments and one from book two below.

Ch. 1,
Bk. 1
An hour into their flight Blake and Justin were
enjoying the quiet drown of the engine along with the darker blue above and the
gray blue waters of Lake Erie thousands of feet below.
Dusk around five, brooded Blake when the tip of the left wing lightly tapped an unseen object. Blake quickly adjusted and settled the flight.

"Was
it a bird?" asked Pyl cautiously.
"Sounded
like a new tire kicking up a stone," said Justin a bit more apprehensive
than his wife.
Blake
picked up the small binoculars for a quick inspection, "There's a crack
near the wing tip light.
Damn, I just paid fifteen hundred for those." His puffed lower lip and grumbling demeanor lead to another round of silence through the uneventfully and thus satisfactory landing at Burke an hour before dark.

While
Blake visually inspected the landing light held fiberglass wingtip more closely
he observed a minute gray spongy substance within the slight crack, it was
secondary to the fact that the crack appeared repairable for a lot less money
than he had anticipated. – Chapter 1, Bk. 1
Ch. 2,
Bk. 1
The worst that can happen
is Ship will run naked to HomePlanetsThree with for his living bioheart crew
attached. When it comes to fight-or-flight the marsupial humanoids have always
had some place to run for their own survival and safety. They have not had to
stand-an-fight event for over twenty thousand earth years. Cultural social
consciousness is the necessity that sees to that.
"Do you think
he'll take your offer?" asked the fit and ready-for-another-swim
Hartolite.
Yermey stated, "I'm more interested in why Ship allowed the Cessna
wingtip's touch. Ship had to know the plane was close and he chose to do little
about it."
With gazed eyes narrowing Captain Friendly commented, "Ship
allowed a touch not a collision. I too wonder about this. For now though we
need to go with what is.
Unknowingly this woman named Pill has scientific evidence of our existence, and there may be microscopic evidence attached the plane, traces of blackenot tissue for instance. I think it would be easier to buy the plane and allow them to make a healthy profit in the process. Besides, an electromagnetic anomaly may have allowed the plane to tap Ship. Godofamily only knows stranger things have happened in this galaxy.

"What do we do?" questioned
Hartolite. "Ship is autonomous as we came here on our own orders, not from
ParentsinCharge." – Chapter 2, Bk. 1
This ties
with Director Kembel’s comment in Ch. 7, Bk. 2 –
Director Kembel sits in the
chair thinking: I no longer stand. I sit and still await Drenakite. Surely she
is at the outer door. This is not a good sign. Embarrassed, he flushes away
such primitive, superstitious thought. History envelops me.
It has some twenty thousand years since the last plague and I feel we may be opening the door to another by bringing these Earthlings here. Ship is less than two hundred miles from our atmosphere and in a special blackened.
Ship is communicating only with Onesixanzero.
No one else knows what is at stake. Our machinery has us tied, thinking this introduction is ultimately for both of our species health and safety, but machinery does not succumb to biochemical contagion. It has no fear,
no superstition. – ch. 7, bk. 2

This is interesting. References to why Ship allowed the touch; and Friendly
questioning that Ship is supposed to be autonomous. And, Kembel telling us that Ship is only communicating with Onesixanzero. This can be taken care of
in this chapter 11. Most cool. Is this luck or what?

After
dusk. You have been cataloguing and condensing the recent earlier info on Ship
and Onesixanzero. We can work with this as is. Later, however, or tomorrow. –
Amorella
1834 hours. ‘We’ is a good
operative word here. This is interesting. I like seeing how things come
together creatively. I never bore people with this stuff, but it is an
essential part of the ‘making’ of Pouch 11. Time for a makeshift supper.
Personal politeness is one of your reason

Tonight
you watched a couple of your favorite TV shows and also the newest “This Old
House” on PBS 16 from Oxford, Ohio. As you were watching the reconstructed
front porch having new columns attached you thought of how your new focus on
the EIM blog is also a new reconstruction tone of the older Merlyn work. –
Amorella
2118 hours. I am again surprised
looking at the novel reconstruction with the similar attitude of fixing up an
older house. I am not so skilled as those on the This Old House Hour, but there
is a similarity that I had not noticed before. I like this way – a new
approach, at least by me. Thank you, Amorella.
You see me as the Master Carpenter here, so
to speak, and you as the apprentice. Give yourself more credit, boy. You are
working at your craft with a more professional attitude. – Amorella
2123 hours. I’ll settle for ‘Craftsman’
– that will do for me one of these days.
