Notes - preliminaries /

Early afternoon. Carol is talking to her sister, Gayle. You and Carol were having a discussion about how it would be living into your nineties – which would be okay if your health was holding up. Otherwise, living in a care facility would not be good news from your perspectives at least presently. Aunt Floy lived to be 101 but her last year or so were not good health-wise. You both came to the conclusion that you could find yourselves living too long to where you could see you were a burden not only on yourself but others around you. Sobering thoughts. – Amorella

1258 hours. Yes, Amorella. Life is what it is. You come in and you go out. We are more fortunate in that Paul and Kim can see we are treated well enough and can be relatively pain free in our final days (hospice-care). By fortunate, at least for me is knowing Paul has the medical background to see how we are living, health-wise, in such a facility. Uncle John and Aunt Patsy are both in their nineties. Tod’s dad is 95 or 96. Most everybody runs into these situations in their lives. We all just plough on until we don’t.

You are waiting for Carol at the community center. Late lunch at Smashburgers then time out for afternoon relaxing at Pine Hill Lakes. – Amorella

1544 hours. I am not sure what to work on next. It is probably better that I finish book two before starting on the Pouch segmentations.

Carol is reading the new Consumer Reports. The grass is mowed and many more trees have leaves in the far north Lakes Park. The pine tree right to the left of you has one to two inch cones growing already and the scent is strong. Spring is well into season. If you are going to write set up Pouch first then do as you wish. – Amorella

1602 hours. Okay, but why is this better to do first?

You have already begun this work and not completed the basics. – Amorella

1603 hours. [QEI died in 1603.] In context this makes sense.

You now have forty-seven chapters of DP in one file. The next thing is to make a single near final document with the thirty-two near final chapters within. Then you will have completed what I have asked for here. – Amorella

1704 hours. Wow. That took just about an hour. We are off for home.

Upon arriving home Tim K. called and asked if you could take him over to West Chester, near the library (Mellow Mushroom restaurant) so he could go to Amy K’s retirement party from the library. You did gladly. Now home and with a change of clothes you are ready to tackle the remaining work, but take a break. We can work on this tomorrow. Post. - Amorella

      1848 hours. Fine with me.
