Notes - food problems / Fritz and lunch / boy sitting / Dr.Paul's thoughts

Last night you had another bout with food poisoning. You were embarrassed because during the evening Paul had to clean you up as you lay in bed vomiting into a plastic bucket lined with plastic. He had to do this at least twice, then he got you into a bath for further clean up. He also drove to Kroger’s to pick up a prescription he ordered and it has provided relief. You took it last night at seven and then at three-thirty in the morning. During the worst of the event Paul said, “Don’t be embarrassed – its all in the family – we do this kind of thing from time to time. Besides, later, (with humor) this is what I will do. Don’t be embarrassed.” – Amorella

0950 hours. I was embarrassed of course, but Paul’s words were/are reassuring. He has always had a bedside manner. I am so very fortunate that he is here. Obviously Paul is here for Kim and the boys first, but it is good to know that eventually I will be well cared for in my final days. I trust Paul completely for medical advice. He always has my best interest at heart. I am so fortunate. – rho

So far you appear to be, at least from your present perspective. Food poisoning as not a fun event but it is real enough in this world. Relax. You had some dry cheerios, a can of diet Coke and a glass of ice water after taking your morning pills. Paul has the boys at Owen’s morning golf practice. Fortunately, he has the day off because yesterday he was on call at the hospital. You both talked to Kim Wednesday night. Carol had gone to bed early. All is well as far as their events in Jamaica are coming along. Later, dude. Your Internet is not working this morning. You can punch it online later today. - Amorella

1002 hours. I’m keeping what little I have eaten down. That’s a good sign. I am still not sure whether I want to venture in to see Fritz.

He said you are blocked in so you can call as late as eleven-thirty as to whether lunch is a go or not. Relax, boy. – Amorella

You had a good lunch and discussion with Fritz on a variety of topics. He has been going to Episcopalian study/discussion groups in Westerville you said that you were presently Universalist Unitarian but on Facebook you are still listed as an existential transcendentalist.

1431 hours. Originally we were both Presbyterian.

1436 hours. The boys are running around doing battle with light sabers and the like Owen and Brennan’s friends are from the next street over, one is eight and the other six. Both Indians have excellent vocabularies. Very cool. Paul called the parents and told me said will be back after his haircut, but after three the boys could go home as long as both did at the same time. I told Paul I would watch the boys who appear to be having a good time – typical boys who are now on their iPads after a piece of candy each.

       Post, boy. - Amorella
