Mid-morning, Saturday. Today the focus is on
Rain-Xing and the shower glass. You need to buy cloths to use for just this
job. You had them in your hand yesterday but you put them down and forgot to pick
them up again. You want Carol to be able to use her new shower tonight. You
also need to do your exercises to meet the requirements for the week. Carol
made bacon for breakfast and it was nice to wake up to the aromas. – Amorella
Mid-afternoon.
You just had a late McD’s Egg McMuffin lunch and are now in Rose Hill in the
shade facing west with the Whitaker mausoleum to the southwest. Carol is
reading a new “Better Homes and Garden” magazine that arrived today. – Amorella
1513 hours. I still have to do the Rain-X
on the shower but I bought new bulbs for the master bath – there are eight
40watt clear bulbs with a dimmer above the mirror and the two LED from-the-ceiling
lights, one above the shower and the other centered above the bath. One fell
out of my hand and broke on the vanity, that took about twenty minutes to clean
up, most of the time looking carefully for small pieces, which we found and
cleaned up. I also bought special glass cleaning cloths to use applying the
Rain-X at Home Depot this morning. – Wow. When the sun is out from the clouds
it is quite colorful – the cemetery is full of trees, many of them quite old.
We can work on Soki’s Address if you are so
inclined. – Amorella
1524 hours. I’m open. What are you going to
talk about?
Who the Soki is, where he came from and why
he attached himself first to Mexito, then Friendly and now Diplomat, and why it
is important to him that Diplomat writes Soki’s Choice. – Amorella
1530 hours. That pretty much covers it. I
had no idea. I am amazed that this is in my head yet I don’t consciously know
about it – until now. The Merlyn books and Stuck, of course, are
somewhere in my head too, but mostly not within the conscious level. I have to
say this is an interesting approach to a new novel on an old subject (to me and
a few readers).
As long as you stay interested that’s all I
need, my man. If I can keep you interested, then I have an audience, that’s how
I’m looking at it. – Amorella
1538 hours. Thank you, Amorella. Wow. I am
an audience of one; this is most cool. Soki’s Choice, I’m for the audience. Do
we do this off line? I am a little hesitant because I feel better knowing a few
others are capable of observing my writing-in-progress. I don’t mind offline
though, as long as I can send it to at least one friend as I write. (1546)
Carol wanted to leave, so here you are at
home. She is feeding the cats and the grass has dried out enough for Tim to mow
his yard. You assume he’ll mow yours today or tomorrow. – Amorella
1608 hours. I want clarification about this
upcoming manuscript.
Nothing’s changed on that score, boy. The
agreement is, as always, you put the drafts and final (if you get that far) on
the blog. The best way to resolve a potential problem for whatever the reason
is to be open and clear in your public notes. Post. – Amorella
Before supper you spent an hour or so
Rain-Xing the shower glass. You had left over Papa John pizza for supper,
watched NBC News, “Blue Bloods” and an episode of “Modern Family”. Carol is
upstairs reading her book and you are thinking about bed yourself. – Amorella
2210 hours. It has been a relaxing evening,
and before bed, I’ll probably watch a half hour comedy via Amazon Prime on my
iPad Mini (with headphones) in the bedroom.
Post. You did accomplish what you intended
to do today, feels good, huh? – Amorella
