Afternoon. You had a productive visit with Andy and a good
Olive Garden lunch with Kim and the boys. Carol is at Macy’s in Polaris and you
will be heading to Cathy and Tod’s when Carol returns. – Amorella

hours. So far, so good except lunch was long; we assume they were short of
staff.
You are home after driving in the rain most of the way. You
watched NBC News. The focus on the OSU threat in the morning took the first
full segment. Earlier, when we were meeting with Andy his daughter, a freshman
at OSU, called to say she was in the gym, hidden and safe. That’s how we found
out something had happened. When we stopped at Kim’s she said it happen across
the street from where she worked with double E (electrical engineers) students on plausible job hunting or
further education after their grad school during her two years working on her
graduate degree. She knows that area of campus very well and was anxious for
those involved. You had a good chat with Cathy and Tod keeping away from
national politics most of the time (the four of you voted for the same
candidate). When you left you drove to the cemetery and saw your gravestone.
Seeing it live didn’t leave much of an impact. – Amorella

hours. We were both rather indifferent. Personally, I’m glad it’s on the footer
in the ground – one less thing anyone has to deal with. It fits right in with
everything else around it. In a hundred years, no one will have known us
anyway, but I feel quite comfortable in all that – very much a quiet “Our Town”
scenario.
