Notes - busy day / some thought on conclusion to ch. 1

Morning. You are at OshKosh B’gosh, next to Hallmark and across the street (south side) from Polaris Shopping. Carol is looking clothes for the boys. Earlier you dropped off Owen at the bus stop (it was/is raining) then took Brennan to Primrose for Pre-K. Next stop was Schneider’s in Westerville for two donuts and a milk each. You have Carters for boys’ clothes next then Macy’s and Lakeshore, a science store then back to Kim and Paul’s. Carol had plans you didn’t know about. – Amorella

1036 hours. I ‘understood’ her plans and thus brought my computer for this probability. I would be in great mental agony without it (what would my fingers do?)

Presently you are waiting at Macy’s in Polaris. Carol bought some science toys at Lakeshore to donate with Andy at Ameriprise for underprivileged kids. You will drop them off shortly. The rain has be increased steadily since early morning.

1204 hours. Nothing on my mind. I have been reading BBC news articles to relieve the boredom – it would be bad if it were warmer and dryer; I could put the windows down. Alas, not such a day. As Carol says, the trees need the rain. I’m not complaining.

Kim called to say she stopped at the expanded On The Rise for everything cookies before returning home. Just before she called you were checking her out on the iPhone ‘Friends’ app and saw she was parked right in front of the bakery. Her meeting was not that far from Paul’s hospital or their sold house in University Heights.

Getting on mid-afternoon. According to the ‘Friends’ app Paul is in Kenton and Kim is near Mansfield at the moment. You are wondering about completing chapter one and reworking Soki’s Address. Let’s finish the first three chapters first then return to Soki’s Address. By that time you will have a better conscious handle on the direction of the book. – Amorella

1428 hours. I’m fine with it. By three chapters the novelty will have worn thin. It reminds me of a point-counterpoint argument with Soki making the counterpoint after the fact of base story already existing.

Carol has decided to take a nap or rest, Kim won’t be here for another hour; let’s finish chapter one, draft one. – Amorella

1434 hours. I’m good to go.

1508 hours. Another few lines from Friendly’s perspective but nothing solid from Soki’s viewpoint. I did read about Burke Lakefront in terms of the grounds and the terminal tower in Wikipedia. One bit of interest to me is something I think Friendly would have liked.

The International Women's Air & Space Museum, Inc. (IWASM) is a museum dedicated to the preservation of the history of women in aviation and space and the documentation of their continuing contributions today and in the future.

The museum began as a committee of the Ninety-Nines in order to collect historical artifacts and memorabilia of women pilots. In 1986, the International Women's Air & Space Museum opened in Centerville, Ohio in the former home of one of the Wright brothers’ uncles, Bernice Steadman, an aviator and member of the Mercury 13, was one of the museum's co-founders.

IWASM resided at its original Centerville location until 1998, when the museum relocated to Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland, where IWASM is located today, after it outgrew the Centerville home and needed to find a new location. The International Women's Air & Space Museum's exhibits are in the lobby at Burke, as well as the west concourse, and are accessible seven days a week. Since the International Women's Air & Space Museum is located throughout the terminal of Burke Lakefront Airport, a public building, admission to this museum is free.

Paul is still at the hospital on call. The rest of you had carry out Chinese carry out. Owen and Brennen are playing a game with Carol observing. Kim is checking her email and texting Paul. You are stuffed with fried rice, chicken, veggies and an egg roll. – Amorella

1914 hours. I feel like I just ate a Thanksgiving dinner.

       Post. - Amorella

1920 hours. I remember going to one of the plane races at Lakefront during college. I think Doug went with me. Also, I think Amorella might have noted about the women aviators at Lakefront -- she would wonder on the irony that women were more powerful socially and politically than men on ThreePlanets. This gave her a quick renewed sense of hope/empathy for younger Earth women on a personal level. Just a fleeting thought that has a deeper personal kick than she would later expect.
