Mid-afternoon.
You had lunch at Brixx Pizza on Mason-Montgomery Road, a new wood fired pizza,
sandwiches, salads and bar. All pizzas are ten inch and very thin crusted; hot
from the oven but they cool down quick. You and Carol were glad to try the
place but you like Papa Johns, Two Cities and Dewey's better for local fare.
Then, a stop at AAA for information on Nashville and Savannah this summer after
Florida. Presently you are waiting for Carol at Kroger's before heading home on
this cold, cloudy and brisk Saturday afternoon. - Amorella
1447 hours. I am interested in getting
started on chapter eight. I haven't looked over yesterday's posting but I
really like the concept of two wheels in sky analogy. Very simple and quite
reasonable considering how I usually undertake metaphysical settings. And. I
love the answer, "Nowhere" relative to the Living. Ha. Who is the
Rider of the Wheel, he sounds much more mysterious than 'the Supervisor'? What
I mean is 'How is his character in comparison to a Betweener and to even a
soul?' This 'wheel' analogy is on a deeper level than I have been mentally and
the setting has nothing institutional about it whereas the setting for the Dead
is a campus/park, even countryside like setting (German, English and American
19th century romantic movement). Two wheels, a larger one and a smaller one
inside in the middle of 'air in the sky'.
Home
after a Graeter's for dessert. As you opened your MacBook you had a flash as to
a meaning for run as in: "And the little wheel run by faith; And the big
wheel run by the grace of God." - Amorella
1636 hours. If I had a 'flash' I didn't catch
it consciously. I think of 'spinning' like a flying saucer or even a spinning
toy top, but how could there be motion when the wheel is timeless?
This
is the same as thinking more deeply and at the same time thinking higher
thoughts. - Amorella
1659 hours. I have spent about twenty
minutes on the dictionary and thesaurus uses of the verb and noun forms of
'run'. I'm back to context such as one, wheel running the other, i.e. the big wheel
running the smaller wheel within -- a
mechanical operation in metaphysics?
Nighttime.
You had a nap, leftovers for supper, watched ABC and NBC News,
"Blacklist" and last Sunday's "CBS Sunday Morning". A
mechanical operation in metaphysics? When you don't know any better you resort
to literal . . . watch gears comes to your mind, ironic when it is timeless,
huh? - Amorella
2157 hours. Yes, weird on my part. Maybe I
should just let it be and go ahead with SC8.
Let's
do it. - Amorella
2206 hours. I got: "Soki here. Time
for some background," to begin chapter eight.
We
need to do this here. You don't have enough information. First, let's set up an
outline with what we have. - Amorella
2213 hours. We don't have anything but the
Rider (Supervisor) on the larger Wheel, and the human and the marsupial
humanoid dead on the lesser Wheel; the Soki and 'myself'? a spokesman for the
Living (which is not actually written in as a character) who are nowhere. Plus,
surrounding the two wheels is the 'air' or 'sky' which is actually the Boatman
who everyone has to make 'payment' to. (2220)
Orndorff,
you have a tendency to overthink. If you are a spokesman for the Living and you
are 'nowhere' what is the connection? You represent the Livings' point of view.
Soki is explaining to you as you are the first reading audience. You have to
let your mind go so Soki can say what he wants to say. - Amorella
2227 hours. It is too late in the day.
Tomorrow might be better to start chapter eight.
Forget
the introduction, just begin with what you had first not the Soki. - Amorella
2229 hours. I'll give it a try.
2247 hours. We covered the chapter pretty
much as it was, a few minor changes then once completed Soki begins with:
"This is not my plan either, says the Soki."
This
is enough for tonight. Soki will talk tomorrow. - Amorella
2251 hours. I assume Soki will return to the
greater Wheel to talk with the Rider.
Assumption
correct, boy. - Post. - Amorella
2254 hours. This will be a surprise for the
reader. I would think, going into this, that accident or change of plan would
be foreseen by the Rider and Betweener.
How
can something be foreseen if time and three-dimensional distance do not exist?
- Amorella
2258 hours. In here, the Biblical Ezekiel
'saw-in-a-vision' a wheel within a wheel in the air but his perception was
incorrect. Is this how we are going to play it?
No.
You really need to slow your imagination down, boy. - Post. - Amorella
