'Family business' on yesterday's post and decided it was not appropriate for a

0754 hours. Sometimes I forget where I am in my
head. Carol is a private person and I have no right putting down 'Family
business'. I need to watch so as not to. I should have caught that when
you suggested the title, Amorella.
Afternoon. You had a leisurely McD’s egg
breakfast for lunch and now you are facing east looking down into the wooded
gully and Muddy Creek running from south to north at a pretty good clip with
the ripples gleaming with sparkle when the sun intersperses from the parting clouds.
Carol is on page 183, at the end of a chapter of Baldacci's Memory Man.

hours. I like this setting at Pine Hill Lakes far north lot. In a month or so
we ought to see some early shoots of Spring growth. We are about three feet
from this branch of Muddy Creek but are up about twelve feet to give some
visual drama. I have the window cracked about an inch for fresh air and Carol's
window is down about a quarter inch for circulation -- very pleasant with only
a few cars traveling by over the short bridge.
Let's work on editing chapter fifteen. -

hours. We finished the chapter. There were some errors and corrections. I am
glad you were helping. I could tell. My focus was different.

hours. Good question. There is a slight change in thought transference; it is
similar to when I used to speed read senior essays and I would flash a content
grade immediately upon completing the reading and about a half second later I
would flash a grammar grade and make an immediate summary of the two for a
grade. I there was a wide discrepancy I would note this in the grade. It is
like an immediate echo of thought showing me you were reading with me in this
chapter or I was reading with you. Sometimes it was like I was reading
immediately after you were but not always.

‘You Have Provided Zero Evidence’:
Stephanopoulos Clashes With Stephen Miller on Voter Fraud

Stephanopoulos got particularly
heated with White House senior policy advisor Stephen Miller over recent claims by President Trump of
voter fraud.
The
president claimed
last week that he
would have won New Hampshire if “thousands” of people hadn’t been bussed in to
illegally vote.
Miller argued to Stephanopoulos that “anyone
who’s worked in New Hampshire politics” is aware of this, but Stephanopoulos
asked him to provide evidence.
He ended up getting testy with Miller as he
kept arguing his point, telling him, “Just for the record, you have provided
absolutely no evidence.”
Miller
insisted that the White House has provided “enormous evidence,” pointing to
serious issues with the voter rolls and “massive numbers of non-citizens in
this country who are registered to vote.”
Stephanopoulos
continued to repeat a number of times that Miller is not providing evidence
towards the end of the interview.

hours. This Week with George Stephanopoulos Show on ABC pours fuel on the fire
between my heart and mind. I don't want to know what my soul thinks about it, I
want to know how I need to resolve this growing in my mind-heart problem with
our modern Triumvirate of Donald Trump, Steve Bannon and Steve Miller. (The
First Triumvirate included Pompey, Crassus and Caesar.)
This is a direct enough question for soul
searching in the general sense of the word, Orndorff. First, let's hear from
each as concisely as possible, beginning with the soul. - Amorella
Your soul speaks: History
does not repeat itself, nor has it except in a very general sense because the
behavior of human beings direct what becomes written into historical events. Your
heart, which is incensed with the fascist direction that national politics
appears to be moving, desires to use words like neo-Nazis, anti-Semitic,
nationalism, and to point to books such as Animal Farm, 1984 and Lord
of the Flies. Your mind desires a fairer and more just world filled
with like-minded people getting along reasonably and humanely with others, to
work together for a better world for children to grow and mature into adulthood
-- this is tied to your having been a professional and humane high school teacher
most of your adult life.
Your
soul understands that in the real everyday world people live in, politics
and religion hold heavy in human hearts and minds. Why? Because both can be
tied to Absolutes in a pragmatic world that appears to be indifferent not to
human morals that focus on living with other people (in a small group or large
international cultures) but to real Absolutes. Observing the weather world-wide
is an example. Observing nature, particularly human nature, is another. Observing
the conflict in individuals seeking perfection is more specific.
In
conclusion you must decide how you are going to tackle this problem for your
individual self, with restraint or action; with what restraint and with what

You had half a crunchy peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a Coke Zero remaining
cheese nachos from yesterday for supper; Carol had a more nutritious light
supper. You watched NBC and ABC News, "Blue Bloods" and most of CBS's

students that I enjoy a captive audience.
You aren't going to tell them anything they
don't already know. They were already captive when you first met them in the
classroom. Today they don't have to listen/read about what you have to say;

hours. True enough, but still the concept makes me uncomfortable. Some people
thrive on having an audience, the larger the better. If I have an audience, the
smaller the better for me -- as long as someone is listening, that's enough.

No, you are not. You have deeper issues that
manifest themselves in these present political times. Here we go. - Amorella

The
First Triumvirate in 60 BCE included Pompey, Crassus and Caesar; the Second
Triumvirate consisted of Caesar Augustus, Mark Antony and Marcus Lepidus in 43
BCE. The Third Triumvirate, as I see it, began this last month. This is not a
reflection based on the old adage that history repeats itself, because history
never has. Why? The people involved are not the same people in the same
historical setting, that is, in the same time.. The Third triumvirate of the
new Let's Make America Great Again are this fascist leaning band are Donald
Trump, Steve Bannon and Steve Miller. These three appear to believe that the
three branches of the federal government, the executive, legislative and
judicial do not have equal power nowadays. The judicial has too much power, and
their intent is to bring the power back to the people. Since all three
government branches are made up of people I am not sure who they are referring
to. However, since this Third Triumvirate is composed of those in the executive
branch, they are set to take the laws away from the judicial because they are
too clearly worded. The Third Triumvirate would rather set a more general tone
to some particular laws so they might be better interpreted and put to use in
building a higher wall of national security to keep out our terrorist enemies.
Who are these enemies? Let them point them out, one political or religiously
oriented group after another. Each of the first two Triumvirates had a man named
Caesar among them. Today's Triumvirate has a man whose name begins similar to
the word triumvirate so I like to call him, for humor's sake, the Triumvirate
Don, because among other things, he is not fitting for the title, Caesar. He
should watch his underlings closely anyway and learn something from the Caesar
named Julius before the Ides of March or whenever in the next four years. One
thing I know for sure, history has never repeated itself, and likely never
will. That brings up another story, Caesar's Will, but one can read about that
quickly enough in Wikipedia just as one can read about each of those men in the
First, Second and my special Third Triumvirate. Reading though can be a
dangerous thing, everyone knows this, so careful. - rho
