No quite mid-morning. You were up around
seven, a more decent time according to Carol. It is going to take you some time
to edit Wikipedia's humility. You are also rather excited to see if the
definition and general description can be applied to a more stable form of the
Marsupial humanoid actual form of government. I will help you with this. Let's
work with developing a parallel with the British parliamentary system as more
people would know how it is theoretically constructed. - Amorella
0832 hours. I will have to
relearn this myself beyond the general sense.
No, that is not the
point. General form is enough. The Marsupial humanoid political construct is
for a unified world species’ family, the focus is on the species not on a
cultural region of birth, which for example might be the Pacific regions East
(Russia, Koreas, Japan, Southeast Asia, South Pacific islands, Pacific islands,
Australia, New Zealand, etc. ) and West (North/South/Central Americas). -
Amorella
0845 hours. A geographic
cultural analogy with Earth is the concept.
Close enough. This has
to be brought out in human conversations about ThreePlanets geo-cultural
historical regions. - Amorella
0850 hours. This will have to
be developed as nuggets from background courses on Marsupial humanoid social
development.
Set up somewhat like
your course on British literature only broader. Think in terms of your students
'study work sheets' for final exams, half two essays and half objective, 200
questions -- 2 hours; 1 hour on each.- Amorella
0857 hours. You are piquing my
interest.
You
just completed the editing of Wikipedia's 'Humility' and posted it. You are
amazed with the reading within. - Amorella
1207 hours. Some of the
concepts jumped out from my heart as I read them with an internal "I 'know-an-understand'
this", or an "'I agree wholeheartedly'". I need to go back and
underline these mutual agreements for my own sense of being.
Indeed, young man. It is
a duty to one's self to understand what 'being' encompasses. Post. - Amorella
You just wrote this statement on your
Facebook page. It also belongs here. - Amorella
"An update. I erred about a
year ago when I said the three most influential pieces of literature in my
personal life were (in order): 1, Our Town; 2, Hamlet; and 3, Moby Dick. I am
now correcting this with four books in a new order: 1, Our Town; 2, Paradise
Lost; 3, Moby Dick; and 4, Hamlet. I'm sure you each have your own personal
lists for your own reasons. I love literature and the thought it provokes., I
have loved written words for as long as I can remember." - rho

Good. Post. - Amorella
Mid-afternoon. You had a late lunch at
Smashburgers but none of the regular crew was there -- food was good though or
so you say. Presently, a stop at Kroger's on Mason-Montgomery Road for
"something for supper". Carol has been cleaning out drawers, files
and cabinets in her office and kitchen most of the day. You think she rather
enjoys the challenge -- reading over lots of old and/or outdated 'stuff'. -
Amorella
1458 hours. It is another
beautiful Spring day, just a little windy. My watch says it's 81 degrees and
partly cloudy. Who would ever have imagined you could look down at a watch to
see the local weather. I am really excited about the BBC article on negative
matter that I sent to Doug. He sent me a note back with an explanation and said
this is what the UFO's could use for plausible power. I was really pumped. I
can use this in Soki's Choice. I could not for the earlier publications.
We are going into this
'updated' version with more background on the Marsupial humanoids. Soki's seen
it all, so to speak. You want Homo sapiens to dream of how they might see a
'better constructed social/economic world with your aliens because many do not
have the hope that Homo sapiens could come up with a better idea on their own.
Isn't that right? - Amorella
1514 hours. It is rather
arrogant to think that I could come up with anything on my own. Amorella gives
me the confidence to at least try; that is, I may not be writing this entirely.
Who knows, but it sounds like fun once again.
You are sitting in the
shade facing west near the Whitaker mausoleum at Rose Hill Cemetery while Carol
is taking her walk after taking the groceries home. You have me on your side
too as well was your old friend and physics/science consultant Doug (Dr. John
Douglas Goss, PhD. nuclear physics). - Amorella
1543 hours. I have always
needed help from friends, no question about it. I don't care what people think,
not really. I am going to have to develop more background on Marsupial humanoid
ThreePlanets cultural history. I need to know/understand where these people are
coming from.
It's a fiction, boy, not a ten volume history series. -
Amorella
1548 hours. I am going
to need lots of help.
Not as much as you think. Relax. We will
do this within logic and reason much as the Marsupial humanoids would. Remember,
take away electricity and the gasoline engine and you would be living not much
different than the Greeks and Romans twenty-five hundred years ago. You might
even have steam power, locomotives and such -- ships and trains. Who knows? Humans
living in social circles though would not be much different though. Do you
think? - Amorella
1556 hours. I don't know. With
steam one would be bound to come up with electrical energy. I don't know,
Amorella. This is an interesting thought. Surely there are some computer
simulations I could use to come up with a more organized plot.
Don't forget the Dead,
boy. The Dead of both species are just as important as the Living in Soki's
book. - Amorella
1601 hours. This just makes it
more complicated. I'll be off writing the book in chapter sections just like
the others.
Soki will have to watch
that then; no more sections. I'm sure Soki has something -- perhaps with
Diplomat since she is the only one living who is a hybrid of both species. What
do you think? - Amorella
1605 hours. Possibly; waiting
until then there would be purpose from the Dead's perspective. But what about
the machinery having a heartansoulanmind too?
Also, with Diplomat.
Things are going to change for the Dead too -- all the souls together. Fun to
think on towards the conclusion of the book, don't you think? - Amorella
You are home. Drop in your emails with
Doug after placing the BBC article. - Amorella

Physicists observe 'negative mass'

Physicists have created a fluid with "negative mass",
which accelerates towards you when pushed.
In the everyday world, when an object is pushed, it accelerates
in the same direction as the force applied to it; this relationship is
described by Isaac Newton's Second Law of Motion.
But in theory, matter can have negative mass in the same sense
that an electric charge can be positive or negative.
The phenomenon is described in Physical
Review Letters journal.
Prof Peter Engels, from Washington State
University (WSU), and colleagues cooled rubidium atoms to just
above the temperature of absolute zero (close to -273C), creating what's known
as a Bose-Einstein condensate.
In this state, particles move extremely slowly, and follow
behaviour predicted by quantum mechanics, acting like waves.
They also synchronise and move together in what's known as a
superfluid, which flows without losing energy.
To create the conditions for negative mass, the researchers used
lasers to trap the rubidium atoms and to kick them back and forth, changing the
way they spin.
When the atoms were released from the laser trap, they expanded,
with some displaying negative mass.
"With negative mass, if you push something, it accelerates
toward you," said co-author Michael Forbes, assistant professor of physics
at WSU.
He added: "It looks like the rubidium hits an invisible
wall."
The technique could be used to better understand the phenomenon,
say the researchers.
"What's a first here is the exquisite control we have over
the nature of this negative mass, without any other complications," said
Dr Forbes.
This heightened control also gives researchers
a tool for exploring the possible relationships between negative mass and
phenomena observed in the cosmos, such as neutron stars, black holes and dark
energy.

Doug,
Thought you might find this [article]
interesting.
Dick
***
Dick, This is really a big deal
in my opinion. The question has always been if negative mass would fall up or
go towards you when pushed. It seems now we know. Really exciting.
Doug
***
Dick, f=ma. So if m is negative
the force on it is negative. So if you push it away from you, since the force
is negative, the effect is opposite and it rushes towards you. This has never
been proven before to be true. One practical effect of this it might replace
the need for dark matter. According to one program I saw on this, if negative
matter has negative force, the universe should be very unstable. Another
example, If I had negative mass, the earth would throw me into space. Wow a
free ride. It may be that UFO's have negative mass and thus can defeat gravity.
Wonderful stuff.
Doug
***
Doug,
I don't understand
this but is this right -- if you push negative mass it moves towards you?
I don't get it. Please explain. What might this mean in practical terms?
Dick
***
Dick
Yes, as long as you have
positive mass around for it to be repulsed by.
