Today
is Kim's birthday! What a difference she has made to our lives. I was supposed
to watch the birth but they didn't have any clothing that would fit me. Twenty
minutes later though, we met. I was afraid to hold her, afraid I would hurt her.
She had blue eyes and reddish hair, looking very much the daughter of the Celt-like
Carol. Kim and I bonded in about fifteen minutes. At one time parent and child
and now as equal friends Homo sapiens. I will never forget upon returning to school
the next day, when Rod Simmons, my friend and school counselor said with glee, 'for
a science fiction fan such as yourself it is very fitting that your daughter
will graduate college in 2001.' I had not had the thought. Kim did graduate
from Miami of Ohio in the Spring, 2001. Carol and I were there wishing her
well. We were there when she graduated
from Ohio State University with her Masters also. Kim is thirty-eight today, a
mature lady and mother, but she and Paul fill our hearts with joy.
Morning. Jill is here
cleaning, Carol is finishing her shower. You have the Honda out ready to go to
Kenwood shopping. That's today's plan. You took a flexural when you got up this
morning; it is taking an effect. The pain is subsiding but drowsiness is rising.

1311 hours. We had an excellent lunch at Cracker Barrel. Carol had trout
and veggies and I had the Wednesday special, chicken pot pie. Carol is still
reading The Brethren because of her extra daily house cleaning with
intent to move within the year. I have much more to do in the basement. Here I
am tired.
Take a nap. - Amorella
