Mid-morning. You had Logan L., a painter
Gary recommended, stop by at eight-thirty to give an estimate. Harvey, a former
hurricane is arriving in your area later this afternoon. Presently you are
waiting for Carol who is in Kroger's. - Amorella

hours. It is surprising how cool it is, 59 degrees and windy. We are a long way
from Texas. Earlier, the cats are acting abnormally dismal and sulking-like. We
wonder if it is the weather because it is change as is the atmospheric pressure
from yesterday. The forecast is for two to four inches of rain today, and it
will rain tomorrow also, though not so much. We think it all has to do with
climate change because in the nineties the predictions were for more
abnormalities in the weather not just the greater warming trend. Both slept
under the same bed last night; not a usual occurrence. Kim, Paul and the boys
are coming this afternoon and staying into Sunday. They are going to help
organize the basement and help clearing what we can do for the time being. They
will not be able to help again on weekends until late November because the boys
have athletic practice/game schedules (soccer, flag football, jujitsu. etc.) on
weekends.
You found a book on Angels in the basement
yesterday and took time for a short skim. It looks more like many others on the
subject, almost as if such entities were classified as faeries and the like, or
so it seems to you. What you and Bob Pringle used to call "tra-lee-laa-shit"
in your Quiz and Quill Club meetings at Otterbein -- even in Bob's last month
of conversations you called it the same thing. - Amorella
1024 hours. Neither of us approached the subject of Angels that way;
perhaps because we taught Milton's Paradise Lost and were both mostly
agnostic and existentialistic (both Sartre and Kant) in our approach.
To you both an 'angel' was an intellectual
device or entity. - Amorella
1033 hours. That's a very good description with apprehension-with-good
reason as the surrounding setting, not a fear based environment.
Mid-afternoon. You and Carol ran errands
earlier and had lunch at Smashburgers. The new manager gave you free drinks for
being a long time customer. Nice. You are to meet Kim and company about
five-thirty at Outback. You spent an inordinate amount of time printing off the
twenty dollar weekend coupon. - Amorella
1558 hours. I forgot how to switch the Brother HL2280DW printer from
Carol's iMac to the iBook. Finally, I gave up and used my AOL account on her
computer.
Back to you and Bob, as you are alive and
Bob is dead what do you think he knows about angels that you do not.- Amorella
1618 hours. Assuming he is still spiritually conscious I would imagine
he has come across one or two in these few earthly years.
1718 hours. This is just getting interesting.
