Notes - yesterday today / trick and treat

Yesterday morning you had a good visit with Dr. B. She was happy to see you dropped seven pounds but sorry about your back and worsened arthritic hip. You had a quick lunch after packing the car. Carol decided to stay and work but wanted you to take up a car load of boxes, etc. and to give candy out at Kim and Paul's while they were out with the boys for Halloween. Once there and unpacked Paul and you took for a good ride in his 1993 Nissan 300ZX (bought from his mentor at the Cleveland Clinic) with twin turbos with 77,000 miles on it. - Amorella

The Nissan 300ZX is a sports car in the Nissan Z-car family  that was produced across two similar but unique generations. As with all other versions of the Z, the 300ZX was sold within the Japanese under the name Fairlady Z.
Sold in Japan from 1983 to 2001 and in the United States  from 1984 through 1996, the 300ZX name followed the numerical convention initiated with the original Z car, the Nissan S30, which was marketed in the U.S. as the 240Z. The addition of the "X" to the car's name was a carryover from its predecessor, the 280ZX, and signified the presence, either standard or optional, of luxury and comfort oriented features not present on previous models.
Despite the presence of that additional equipment, the first generation "Z31" variant of the 300ZX (1983-1989) continued in the tradition of the original S30 as a mid-priced model. The second generation "Z32" was driven up-market, being faster, more capable, more advanced, and much higher priced than its predecessor, with consecutive price increases each model year of availability. As such, the Z31 was the more accessible, and ultimately the more popular model, selling over 100,000 more units in total than the Z32.
Car and Driver placed the Z32 on its Ten Best  list for 7 consecutive years, each model year of its availability in the United States. Motor Trend  awarded it as the 1990 Import Car of the Year. The Nissan 350Z, Import Car of the Year, officially the Z33 generation Z-Car, succeeded the 300ZX in 2003.

1605 hours. [I arrived home about two this afternoon and we ate lunch at Smashburgers.] Riding the Z was a lot of fun and furthered 'male bonding'. I haven't been in a sports car since forever. Surprisingly I could climb in and out with little difficulty. The ride was so much an 'authentic' older sports car. Stick shift is awesome. Paul 'remoted' the door locks and dropped in a new Kenwood radio with Bluetooth and an added back up camera.

Last night due to a mix up Kim and Paul had you pass out candy from six to eight while they were out with the boys. You spent part of the time waiting in a chair on the front porch (the temperature was just below freezing), part of the time you sat with bowl of candy just inside the door when the kids were coming to collect their treats. You got a kick out of the all costumes and the cuteness of little ones. You also were eating take out Chinese for supper. After it was over you had a good chat with Kim and Paul, watched the 'copied' NBC news about nine-thirty, chatted more with Kim after Paul went up to bed. Then you went to bed. You did not pick out a 'Ghost Story' for last night and today it was not appropriate from both your and my perspectives. - Amorella

1645 hours. They are silly stories Amorella. At one time I might have thought them authentic-like but not anymore. It's just as well I didn't think to add a Halloween-like story for last night. Personally, I was distracted positively  by the many friendly kids who stopped by. They were having fun showing off their costumes and sacking candy. I was having a good time sharing the candy and many smiles to and from kids and parents alike. Nothing ghost-like in that. (1651)

Sharing the spirit-of-the-evening was more important than sharing the candy or the ghost story. - Amorella

       1653 hours. That it was.

       Post. - Amorella

You watched NBC and ABC News, "The Good Doctor" and then you watched the first two episodes of "Stranger Things.2" on Netflix while Carol went upstairs to read. Tomorrow you have to get a new blood tests as the Tuesday tests shows some an abnormal low and high.

2226 hours. My posting of 10/27/17 has a new high on hits, 433, one of the top ten over the years. I'm feeling a bit guilty that I brought it up at all.

You did not mention the JFK assassination for the wrong reasons (a secret wish for more hits). Your guilt comes from over-moralizing about the event. In doing so you create a sense of wishing to be more perfect in your choices. This leads to a sense of arrogance for the wrong reasons, a secret wish to be more perfect, i.e. to always chose your moral choice for the right reason. These choices are always a connection between the conscious and unconscious mind. This is somewhat like, but not the same, as conflicts between the spiritual heartansoulanmind. One may make a conscious decision, i.e. "Here I stand, I can do no other," but the spirit has its own secret side, the simplest explanation is that the individual no matter who, always has a sense of innocence within. People do not always know what they do and why they do it; however, each person is responsible for her or his own actions. - Amorella

2244 hours. No way to win, Amorella.

Not completely win, but any loss is also not complete. In a spiritual sense it allows for Grace. That's the way it is in here. - Amorella

2246 hours. Trick and treat both at once.

       Post. Boo. Amorella

2248 hours. In context it makes no difference whether I agree with your assessment at all.

Such a display of humor, boy. - Amorella
