Late morning. Carol had her follow-up with
the dentist and now has to wait until the end of February to have the post
implanted, then after that, three more months to have a new tooth placed on the
post. As it was her last tooth there was no choice, i.e. she could not have a
bridge. You had the car washed and waxed this time and now you are running
errands, presently at the post office for more stamps. Your results came in
from the MRI. Here they are:

Study Result - MRI
Impression
Extensive degenerative changes seen throughout the lumbar spine.
There has been progression of changes at the L1-L2 and L4-L5 levels which now
demonstrate severe central canal and lateral recess compromise. Other levels
also show severe central canal
stenosis although they appear unchanged. Multilevel foraminal compromise also seen and correlation for radiculopathy recommended as described above.
Interval progression subchondral signal changes L1-L2 level felt likely degenerative in etiology. Sequela of early discitis osteomyelitis a less likely consideration. Clinically correlate.

1117 hours. I
sent the above to Kim and Paul, basically
because Paul asked to
see them.
Craig was ill this morning so they are
staying in St. Louis area another day. They called mid-afternoon to say that
after a stop at an emergency center he is better and they will be here tomorrow
afternoon. So, relaxing and conversations are on taps for their visit. They
will leave Friday morning as was already planned. - Amorella
2217 hours. We
are just happy they will be here for a visit. Earlier, Eric of M/I Homes called
to set up a first construction meeting. This Friday we will meet with the
construction supervisor at one o'clock. Kim will be there also. If the weather
agrees M/I will begin digging the basement next Monday. At least the ground has
not frozen yet, so there is hope the basement will be poured before Christmas.
We are ready. Hope all goes well.
2234 hours. We look forward to seeing our old friends tomorrow.
