Late morning. You are at Barnes and Noble off I-75 in West Chester. Carol is reading
a James Patterson novel and is looking to buy Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me
Go. You've been reading emails/(science) articles, mostly from Doug and
Nancy.
Lunch at Panera, Carol had salad and
you had oatmeal and you split an apple scone for dessert. Presently you are
sitting in Rose Hill near the mausoleum facing west. The day is sunny and
though twenty-seven degrees the windows are warming the Honda interior without
the engine running. Carol is back to reading Patterson's Invisible,
Chapter Twelve, page thirty-nine. - Amorella
1323 hours. We haven't been to
the cemetery in a while and though the wind is straightening the many small
American flags, it is coming from the south and it is supposed to be in the
forties tomorrow. Peaceful place. Naked stones and mostly naked tree
projections from the lightly snow covered ground. What I did learn is that
lighting up the soul comes from the heart to the soul, that's the wiring, so to
speak. I like it because it makes sense, and if the soul is lit by another
metaphysical 'influence' it is from outside the soul's domain and not connected
with the spiritual heart. The mind becomes as an appendage to the heart; it is
not equal with the heart as far as its spiritual essence is concerned.
The mind supplies the human reasoning and some fall back
memory mostly from the unconscious. It is as a spiritual engine, a singular
force of independence when physically dead. - Amorella
1340 hours. The three parts are not equal. I somehow assumed
they were.
Equal is not a word
used by the freed-from-the-body human spirit. - Amorella

How else can a sense of justice be applied?
Equality is not a word
of importance where equality and justice do not come up. - Amorella
1345 hours.
How can there be justice if there is no equality? How can this not be important
among the Dead? Where is the humanity among the Dead? Memory from the spiritual
heart would shout and rise up against the tyranny of Tyrants. People died for
such. Millions of people died fighting against slavery and lack of justice.
These things would not be forgotten surely.
There is no need for
either word among the Dead. Shalom. - Amorella

You wrote the word and I had to look it up. All I knew is that Shalom is Jewish. I
found that it means: peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity,
welfare and tranquility and it can be used idiomatically to mean both hello and
good-bye according to Wikipedia. I have heard it as hello I don't know about as
good-bye. I didn't know or remember the other meanings. Very interesting. You
wrote 'Shalom'. I did not think the word but I felt I heard a whisper in my
mind. I did not know how to spell it. The word fits in such a place as this
cemetery. (1401)
This minor event of
the day is now marked in your heart, boy. What do you think? - Amorella
1403 hours. [I think] I have just learned something beyond words.
Post when applicable.
