Notes - trees and forest(s)

Late dusk. You have been home several hours. Linda and Jean left when you arrived and have been on the road just short of seven hours. You assume they are about an hour outside of Atlanta if they are stopping for the night about now. Nine of the Hammond family had lunch at Maggie Woo's in the Polaris Mall north of Columbus. Steve, Cathy, Jim, Mary Lou, Uncle John, Linda, Jean, Carol and you sat at a large round table and shared good food. After lunch, the four of you drove to your house; they picked up some things after filling the tank and were then again heading south on I-71 to I-75 to Tampa.
After catching up on house details you had a light supper of ham and swizz cheese on a bagel while you watched the news, last week's "This Old House" and "Crossing Lines". You want to know why I said, "self-centeredness is not about the self" in yesterday's posting, do you not? - Amorella

I am still on the soul being loaded with the adjective, sharp, and the soul being a growth stimulator as well as the painted billiard balls. If you can fit these connectors with centeredness rather than self-centeredness, that will be fine too. These aspects appear to be qualities of what a soul is or what it presents itself to be, at least in these Merlyn stories. (2141)

For a human being to be 'centered', that is to know who sheorhe is, standing alone before an hypothetical Angel of G---D (as many humans see this) not as a judgement of life's actions or inactions, but as a definition of what it is to be a "human" "being" living in a universe. In order for a definition to occur one must understand the soul, the heart, and the mind as separate as well as connected existential entities within and without physical bodies. This is what Merlyn stories encompass, "what it is to be a human being" in fiction form with the attachment of the Living with the Dead because Living is only part of being human. This is your concept orndorff, not mine. Originally you were thinking of the ancient Greeks and their attempt to 'show' and/or 'say' what it is to be human. This is your head at work attempting to create order out of what the 'disorder' of life is as you see it. You want these stories to make sense to you as a response to having been alive and thinking that living is only part of the growth. I am helping you create a story out of this. This is not about 'self' this is about 'being human in existential conditions both inside and out, both spiritually, if you will, and physically.

2223 hours. Linda and Jean called; they are below Atlanta and are stopping for the night. They got further than I thought they would. What you say makes more sense to me, Amorella. Human beings are the study, I am a human being, therefore the study (in an experimental writing form); the study concerns the condition of being human (both living and dead) in two species to broaden the field beyond Earth.

You need to read this over once in a while to remind you to separate trees and forest(s). Post. - Amorella
