January 15
You are sitting at the restaurant waiting on
others of your Class of 1960 who ought to arrive within the hour. Earlier you
had a good lunch with Fritz, then a snack lunch with Kim, then a Graeter’s with
Kim and Carol. You also stopped in to see two available units in the North
State Street Condominiums (55 years of age and older) near the corner of
Polaris and State. Carol and Mary Lou met you and Kim there after Carol’s hair
appointment after their lunch at Panera. You liked both units but prefer the
unit with about 1500 square feet. This will be another day of course but it was
fun to look. – Amorella

You met Dave and Marsha at Der Dutchman off
Exit 165 on I-71 around noon and had a good conversation through lunch and
after everyone had one of their favorite pies for dessert. You left the
restaurant for separate destinations near mid-afternoon; home by four you both
napped until awaken by Kim to go to supper at the Local Roots restaurant in
‘downtown’ Powell. Nearby Graeter’s for dessert, then home. It has been a very
good day. The last thing David said to you was, “Come to Massillon.” You will
in the Spring if not before. – Amorella

hours. David spoke several times. He had those ‘old’ lights in his eyes more
than once. It was absolutely wonderful to see him and Marsha; a joy. There were
times in our lives – teens and twenties when the two of us would break into
laughter for no known reason (no drugs or alcohol inducement) and would laugh
until tears ran down our faces. Dave brings out the ‘orndorff’ in me (and him)
too. Such is the dark humor that runs deep in our ancient ‘Presbyterian’ stock
genes.
You don’t know how else to express this, but
the correctable words that come to your mind presently. – Amorella

hours. If I coped the above correctly, what is the word that is correctable?
Presbyterian, though it is understandable in
the context of only you and David that has to do with a private interpretation
of ‘Predestination’. Post. - Amorella
